I’m Nadia, born and raised in East London (before it was gentrified). I completed my Film MA in 2022 of the back of my TV & Video prod (BA)…and have done nothing with either, much to my dismay. Unfortunately, life happens and we sometimes have to priorities things other than our hopes, dreams and ambitions…no biggie. I’m fortunate though that I now work in education, something I’ve always been passionate about. Having been a vulnerable child myself with the odds stacked against me, it’s an honour to help others in similar positions find their feet in life. The reason I’ve joined the group isn’t to just moan though, it’s to reignite my passion of writing, particularly comedy. Through my current career path and last few years of life being filled with chaos, loss and upheaval, I’ve had an idea brewing that I’ve wanted to begin writing. Through my degrees I have so much knowledge that hasn’t been utilised on developing ideas for TV and I want that to change this year!
