Why Tailored Applications Win More Interviews
Most people think they have an interview problem. They actually have a positioning problem. If your resume says ā€œcybersecurity enthusiastā€ and your projects, certs, and skills all point in different directions, recruiters get confused fast. And confused candidates usually get ignored. A tailored application tells a company exactly why I fit THAT role. Same language. Same tools. Same priorities. Same direction. One resume for SOC jobs. Another for cloud roles. Another for GRC. That doesn’t mean lying. It means translating my experience into the language the employer already cares about. The people getting interviews right now are making it EASY for recruiters to connect the dots. Comment "TAILOR" and I’ll DM you my tailored application strategy guide.

šŸ”„ Linux Commands That Actually Matter šŸ”Ā Ā
I see a lot of people ā€œlearning Linuxā€ but they can’t actually DO anything with it šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø I made that mistake early on too šŸ˜… I memorized commands without understanding how they show up on the job That’s a problem 🚨 Because in cybersecurity, Linux isn’t optional… it’s the foundation šŸ’» If you can’t navigate, manage files, and inspect systems quickly, you’re stuck Most beginners waste time on random commands they’ll never use Instead, I focus on the small set that actually gets used daily Think navigation, permissions, processes, and networking That’s what separates someone who studies… from someone who gets hired šŸŽÆ I put together a simple guide with the exact commands I’d learn first Comment "LINUX" and I’ll DM you the guide.

šŸ” SIEM Explained Simply (Beginners Guide)
I see a lot of beginners skip SIEM because it ā€œlooks complicatedā€ 🤯 But here’s the truth… this is what most entry-level cyber jobs actually use daily šŸ’» A SIEM is basically a tool that collects and analyzes security data from everywhere šŸ“Š Think logs, alerts, login attempts, weird behavior… all in one place šŸ” Without it, companies are basically blind to threats 🚨 And if you don’t understand it, you’re missing a core skill for SOC roles āš ļø Most people focus on certs but ignore how real security work actually happens šŸ‘€ That’s why they struggle in interviews and on the job 😬 I put together a simple breakdown so you actually understand SIEM (no fluff) šŸ“˜ Comment "SIEM" and I’ll DM you SIEM Beginner Guide.

šŸ”„ The ePortfolio Trick That Gets Callbacks šŸ’»Ā Ā
Most entry-level cyber applicants say they ā€œknow Linux.ā€ But almost none of them can prove it. That’s why they never get the interview. If I’m a hiring manager and I see two resumes… One claims skills. The other shows a live Linux backup server project with screenshots and a write-up. Who do you think I’m calling? šŸ“ž An ePortfolio isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing I can apply what I’ve learned. 3–5 solid technical write-ups can separate me from 90% of applicants. Most people skip this step. That’s why most people never get callbacks. Comment "PORTFOLIO" and I’ll DM you my ePortfolio blueprint.

šŸ¤– ATS Is Blocking Your Resume 🚫
Most people think they’re getting rejected because they ā€œaren’t qualified.ā€ šŸ˜… That’s usually not true. They’re getting rejected because a robot never read their resume. šŸ¤– If your resume isn’t plain text, the ATS can’t parse it properly. If your name isn’t isolated on the first line, it can misread your last name. If you use fancy formatting, columns, graphics, or icons, it can literally break the system. šŸ’„ And if the ATS can’t read it… A human never sees it. This is why people apply to 200 jobs and hear nothing. There’s a very specific way I structure resumes in 2025 so they actually get THROUGH the filter. šŸ“„šŸ”„ Comment "ATS" and I’ll DM you the resume breakdown.
