My DistroKid account was restricted after they told me that stores and streaming services were no longer accepting my releases due to “editorial discretion.” They didn’t provide any specific reason or explain what rule was supposedly violated. I’ve never bought streams, used bots, or uploaded copyrighted material that wasn’t mine. One of my songs recently went viral on TikTok and was used in over 200,000 videos, so I’m trying to find out whether the sudden growth may have triggered some kind of review or misunderstanding. I’m currently contacting DistroKid for clarification and hoping to get more information about what happened. Did anyone also had this problem and maybe got his account back?
