My first 3 deals in 3 weeks
Hi guys, just wanted to share my experience with getting my first few deals for my agency, it took a combination of warm and cold outreach that enabled me to get my first 3 interested prospects. 1. Built a website for a plumber who also agreed to introduce me to his warm network of electricians, builders carpenters etc. 2. Reached out to a plumber who was struggling to manage admin work (spending an entire working day just on invoicing), got him to send me his business information and will be scheduling a second call with him to discuss the build. 3. My biggest one; managed to get in touch with the owner of a marketing agency. After meeting with him in person and showing him my work, he got hyped. Gave me two projects to build just for his business and agreed to refer me clients in the future in exchange for a commission. Can't thank Zack enough for his content and business advice, keep grinding!

Yes sir g!
Your backend is important
Haven't had a close yet; all leads in wait mode. Goal for this month is 3k+, hopefully from 1 or 2 AI details. But the past 2 weeks have been working on the backend a lot. Built out my new website and dashboard/crm on Base 44. It's awesome and just shows how being organized and having a stable backend is super important. SOP's too, for sure. Build your backend out, practice sales, and MASTER AI KNOWLEDGE. Zack has been telling me that if you master AI, you will close more deals than any other agency owner, and it's true. Just shows if you're in waiting mode, like waiting on deals, don't doomscroll; work on your backend.

28 Days Later
Update from my last post 28 days ago. Since then I fully shifted into upselling AI on top of the ads clients, and it's been the busiest stretch since I started. Four real deals in motion right now. One's a $2,200 text-to-CRM build, contract's sitting with the client. One's an electrician, real video call locked with him and his wife once their schedule opens. One's a restaurant where the whole pitch changed mid-discovery; I walked in thinking it was one problem and it turned out to be something completely different, landed on a $3,500-4,000 build once I actually understood what was going on. And a dental practice locked for a call this Wednesday, could be a $4,000 combined deal if he goes for both builds. That's up to $13,700 in potential revenue sitting across four live conversations. Nothing's signed yet so not calling any of it closed, but more calls keep coming in behind these four. Have all the deals in motion.15, sophomore year of high school now, running this around classes and homework. Still learning most of this in real time. This community's been a big part of why it's working.
Hard work paying off
Started my AI marketing company back in December at 15, and it's been slow, but over the past 2 months signed 4 high-ticket clients for ads. Finally seeing hard work pay off, and it's a reminder that no matter your situation, you can make it work. Now im starting to upsell AI and shifting into it. Zack's content is a huge help too; his YouTube content really helps out. Just starting and wanted to share a win
Introduce yourself 👇
Welcome in. This community is where we show everything we're learning building AI systems for real businesses. The wins, the fails, the exact systems, all of it. First thing to do: drop an intro in the comments so we know who we're talking to. 1. Who you are and where you're from 2. What you do (your business, your job, or what you're building) 3. Where you're at with AI (never touched it, playing with ChatGPT, or already building stuff) 4. The one thing you wish AI could do for you That last one matters most. The best content in here gets made from what you all actually ask for. I'll go first. I'm Jake from Charlotte NC, I am 20, a D1 college football player, and I run LeadLock AI, where we build custom AI systems for business owners. Closed a client yesterday off a system that we have up in the classroom. Everything I figure out along the journey of scaling my business gets posted here first, looking forward to getting to meet y'all! Your turn. Drop your intro below 👇
