Hi! I really admire your work and your experience in color grading. I'm currently a beginner in color grading, but my long-term goal is to become a professional cinematic colorist and eventually work at an international level. I wanted to ask for your advice: If you were starting again from zero today, what would you learn first, and what path would you follow from beginner to professional colorist? What are the most important skills I should focus on besides learning DaVinci Resolve? For example, color theory, color science, cinematography, visual perception, film analysis, or anything else you think is essential. I would also really appreciate it if you could recommend the best way to practice, what type of footage I should work with, and any courses, books, or resources that helped you become a better colorist. My goal is not just to learn the software or apply cinematic looks. I want to truly understand color grading and eventually be able to create professional cinematic looks of my own. Thank you for your time. I would really appreciate any advice you can give me.
