Haris- Day 1 of the #AIS Challenge
Hi everyone, sharing a quick update on my progress with the #AIS Challenge. So far, the system is working well. I successfully automated the full workflow: β€’ AI researches and writes the newsletter β€’ Images and visuals are generated automatically β€’ The final HTML newsletter is emailed directly to recipients The interesting part is realizing that the quality of the output now depends heavily on the instructions given to the agent. I still need to refine the prompts and workflows so future newsletters consistently include all the elements I want, like infographics, layouts, visual hierarchy, and formatting standards. But from an automation perspective, it’s working end-to-end. Now I’m thinking about deployment and scalability. For those building AI automation systems: What are you using for the frontend and deployment layer? Vercel? Railway? Render? Something else? Curious to hear how others are approaching production-ready AI workflows.

Haris- Day 1 of the #AIS Challenge
Day 1 of the #AISChallenge
Hi, everyone! I’m sharing the results from Day 1 of the #AISChallenge. One thing I learned that really stuck with me is how to connect the APIs, and one improvement I made to the project was changing the colors of the newsletter and adding the logo to the infographic. However, I have a question: how can I make sure the text in the infographics looks good? Thanks for your feedback.

This is a good question. Usually, when we are generating an infographic, we tell it if there is something wrong or if we don't like it, for example, "Increase Font size below the images and make sure they are readable". I believe doing the same here can help. Try adding instructions telling the agent to make sure the font on the Infographics and Images is large enough for readers to read easily, and not too small. Here is a sample prompt for Claude Code: "Ensure all infographic and image text uses large, readable font sizes optimized for easy viewing across desktop and mobile devices. Avoid using small or cramped typography, and prioritize clarity, hierarchy, and accessibility so key messages can be understood at a quick glance." PS: Your Newsletter looks amazing. Hi @Melusi Ncube , Nice to meet you. Learning Automations is great but I would not count that as the first step. Learning Marketing and Sales will definitely the first step. Based on my experience, here is how you can go about it: 1- Warm Leads First (Exisitng Customers, Past Customers, Friends, Partners, LinkedIn contacts). 50-80% of the first wins comes from the personal network and warm introductions. I always ask my clients if they can introduce me to 1-3 people who might benefit from my services. 2- Content: Especially, where you show what problems your systems are solving for your clients. LinkedIn is an amazing place. I wouldn't just rely on posting content but would also reach search and reach out to potential clients. Content is what builds your authority and answers the question why they should trust you. Outreach is what starts conversations and eventually conversions. I wish you best of luck my friend :)
