Hey all, Just wanted to let you all know that I have passed the DP-700 exam on the 30th December, 2025. what a way to finish the year. I must say a big thanks for Will for his YouTube video on DP-700 that helped me a lot. Prep wise, I didn't do much except for Will's video along with Aleksi's YouTube videos on DP-700 and the Microsoft Learn documentation. I did rely on experience with Fabric to help me pass this. I did get a few questions on monitoring and KQL. There were also questions that needed you to know the query insights views well. Other than that, most of it was related to working with Fabric itself. Good luck to anyone who is planning on taking this exam. It is definitely not an easy one. Next up, DP-600. I am going to be going through the resources from this community and more of the YouTube videos around this. Thank you

I passed my DP-600 yesterday. Thanks @Will Needham and members of the group that posted exam relevant tips. Won’t have known about the free exam voucher without this group! I prepared first by going through MS Learn, all the resources here on DP600 and then the day before the exam - “Learn with Priyanka’s exam video” which had a lot of exam relevant questions. As for the exam, notably there were about 15 questions on T-SQL, about 6 on CI/CD (if items were going to be deployed from one environment to the other, depending on the settings). I Plan to get a bit more hands on knowledge on Fabric Dojo before taking DP-700. Cheers 🎉

I've just passed the Microsoft Fabric DP-700 exam today and I want to thank Will for sharing the tutorial videos about the exam. Will summarised the most important concepts that are frequently tested in DP-700, which made it much easier to focus on what actually appears in the real exam.​​ I watched the video twice and memorised the key facts and ideas, and that was a big reason I was able to pass. Studying only the DP-700 Microsoft Learn modules is not enough; you also need to dive into the Microsoft Fabric documentation. However, the information in the documentation is scattered, and Will's YouTube video really helps narrow down the sections and topics that are most likely to be tested.​​ Using NotebookLM to generate podcasts, quizzes, and flashcards from my notes was also very helpful for revising and checking my understanding.
