Today: I caught myself…
Today I caught myself telling my daughter “not to spill her food on your shirt while she ate.” And guess what happened? You guessed it. She spilled on her shirt. Instantly, I reacted. I told her, “How could you do that?! I just told you not to do it!” And then, I was reminded of this video and my own advice I share to my students in MPGA. Write in the comments if you can relate to this and give an example of a recent time you fell for this trap! https://youtube.com/shorts/iPLe6N2GaXg?si=J-1O8mr-Yv0MUj_t

Yes!!!🙌
I'll be the first to admit...
Team, I have a confession. I told myself after the MPGA Fellowship with @Cydney Clanton that I was going to do the 3 Good Things Challenge and keep a daily record of writing out 3 good things that happened each day (at the end of the day). I started off strong the first day... but then... I completely forgot to do it last night. I will be the first to admit, that sometimes life gets in the way and we forget. This morning, I was reading the Word and the phrase OBEDIENCE came up. I realized that this is a new habit and I have not yet made my habits stick. One mental trick I learned from habit building is this... "don't skip twice." What this means is that we will all mess up or make mistakes or forget... that's normal. But stay disciplined and obedient to not skip TWO DAYS IN A ROW. This is something I can control once I become aware of missing a day. I saw this video of Paige Bueckers being interviewed about NBA superstar Kyrie Irving the moment he tore his ACL. In that moment of a game defining moment... he "thanked God." Start the video at 22:14 to watch the clip. Stay in gratitude. It's the mindset of champions.

It’s okay! It’s hard to keep consistent with it. My saying is “don’t skip twice…” meaning try to see if you can always have a streak of 2 days in a row. If you can set a goal to do 4 days that’s awesome! Then you repeat the small wins and make it a habit after 21 days
Welcome in! Introduce yourself and let’s kick things off: 🎯
Let's get to know each other. Comment below by sharing: - Where are you in the world? - What’s your #1 mental performance goal? - What do you do for fun?

@Chris Knobloch welcome to MPGA coach Chris! Is there any new technology you have been experimenting with that you really really love these days (for golf or even outside of golf)?

@Emma Brodrick hi Emma! Welcome to MPGA. What’s are some things you have tried in the past after a mistake that did not work for you?
How You Finish The Year Matters!
Pause the Noise. Reset the Mind. Before the year ends, pause... on purpose. High performers don’t need another goal or grind message right now. They need a moment to reset how they show up under pressure, when expectations are high and energy is low. Tomorrow night, I’m hosting a live MPGA Community Huddle to close the year with a simple, powerful mental training exercise. No hype. No fixing. Just clarity, presence, and intention. This is for competitive athletes, high performers, students, parents, coaches, and leaders who want to enter the next season grounded... not rushed. 🗓 Monday, the 29th - ⏰ 9:00 PM (ET) - 🎯 Live + Free How to join (super simple): 1. Click the Calendar tab 2. Search for tomorrow's event (Dec 29th) click the link and join the class which starts at 9pm (ET). Invite a friend who carries a lot. Let’s finish the year with awareness... and step into the next one with intention.

How You Finish The Year Matters!
Practicing Gratitude
Last night, we got to finish our talk on Gratitude!! At the end we challenged everyone to set an alarm for anytime of the day and pause for 1 minute and be in a state of gratitude. Whether that is writhing things you are grateful for or stopping to pray. Even if you wanted to text a friend or family member to tell them you are grateful for them. We have to people that practice and make a conscious effort to be grateful. Please join us once a day for just 1 minute to practice gratitude!
