@Ryan Henris @Stephen Pica The cost to convert a 100k EA to a PA will always be $10, as long as it is bought during this sale, and you don't fail it; Dec 2nd is just when the sale ends. The most cost effective strategy if you buy a 100k EA during this sale would be: -Use code "SOHBETAD" -Pay the $59.40 EA fee -Pass it within a month so you don't have to pay next month's higher maintenance fee. -Pay $10 to turn it into a PA.

@Ryan Henris Oh, alright. Have they done it this way before? Encouraging people to make such large trades seems odd.
To the new folks in the Workshop.
I won't be on tonight, but just wanted to hop over here from the boardroom group to hopefully encourage you. I've been in the group for over a year now, and have grown a lot slower than I could have. I used to think I had to keep everything a secret, because if too many people figured it out, it would ruin it. I don't think that way anymore, because it seems that just not that many people stick with it long enough for it to matter. If you gain the skills to do this right, the market can change, and you'll just change with it. Here are some things that if I would have done, would have made the process go much faster. -Do what Kyle tells you to. -Don't do the things he tells you not to do. It doesn't make you a robot. It equips you with the tools you need to succeed and hone your particular skills. And speaking of robots; No, I'm not one. Here are some trades I took today for an EA I'm working on using the skills I have(imperfectly) learned from this group. Enjoy the workshop!

@Misty Adams Absolutely! It's a ton to take in, so even though all of the individual parts are relatively simple, it's confusing in its entirety when you're first learning it.

Risky compared to what?

Anything that can't go on forever, doesn't. The status quo will change some day. Everyone(almost) will freak out like it came out of nowhere, when it was obviously coming, just hard to tell when. It seems we are in the largest speculative, debt fed bubble in history, and all bubbles pop. It will probably lead to a depression and more war :/ And then after 5-10 years the up and coming generation will find a new normal and allow its own "little" compromises in the way they set up the system, that will come back to bite in their own time. Maybe.
