What Japanese cultural tradition would you most like to experience and why? Misogi (ใฟใใŽ) One Japanese cultural tradition I would most like to experience is misogi (็ฆŠ / ใฟใใŽ). Misogi is a traditional purification practice where people cleanse the body and mind โ€” sometimes by standing under a cold waterfall or entering freezing water while focusing deeply and enduring discomfort. I think it would be a powerful experience. It seems difficult, but also calming. I like the idea of challenging yourself, clearing your mind, and starting fresh. โ“Question: What Japanese cultural tradition would you most like to experience and why? Examples: ๐ŸŒธ Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) ๐ŸŽ† Hanabi festivals (fireworks festivals) โ™จ๏ธ Staying at a traditional onsen ryokan ๐Ÿฅ‹ Martial arts training ๐Ÿต Tea ceremony โ›ฉ๏ธ Visiting a shrine during New Year (hatsumลde) ใ‚ณใƒกใƒณใƒˆใงๆ•™ใˆใฆใใ ใ•ใ„๏ผ(Tell us in the comments!)

ๅคงไธˆๅคซใ€€ใ ใ„ใ˜ใ‚‡ใ†ใถใ€€daijoubu This is a must know phrase. So very common. It can mean yes or no, I'm fine, no thanks. Context, tone and gestures are key.

Hiragana Challenge Day 11 โ›ฉ๏ธ๐ŸŽŒ
"Always do your best. What you plant now you will harvest later." โ€” Og Mandino Follow the link, watch the video and learn along. Complete the work sheet. Write your hiragana on some paper. Writing helps you distinguish the characters and get them into your long term memory. Post your work. Show off your skills, receive feedback and get motivation from us sharing together. https://www.skool.com/japanese/classroom/78718867?md=34a5d8c4129545e1bd50ca5ac197fe9a Please try your best (ganbatte kudasai)!!! Joe Sensei. @Leonardo Adoccimo @Ricardo Solomons @Kev Hear @Julia Stanley @Harry Lewis @Serdar San @Lydia Cox @Cecilia Parks @Barry Prescott P.S. Bonus Challenge. Try and recognise the hiragana in this drawing. It is often hard to recognise characters when they are written stylistically, like how cursive can be hard for us to read.
