☆"There is no such thing as SELF-confidence." We, in our own power, have NO confidence ... we easily and often default to hypervigilance, self-protection, anxiety, posturing, depression, and all other manner of insecurity. And that condition suits GOD³ just fine ... Because he would like for us to FINALLY and EVENTUALLY acknowledge that HE is IN CHARGE and HE is WISER and HE is LOVING and HE is SAFE And HE is CONFIDENT in his Confidence for us, even when we are not. so true, it took me into my 40's and a bout with Covid in my 50's to REST in the fact God is in charge and I totally have faith

HOW CAN 😨 FEAR BE 😁FUNNY?
It seems that truly intense experiences set us up for future challenges for "befriending fear"? This is a conversation in progress through which I hope to collect and to share experiences and Divine strategies that move the needle from chaos to curious and from curious to comical. Wouldn't it be great if we could teach our kids and grandkids to laugh at this lifelong monster? I 🤔 it would be worthwhile to bring the conversation into the SKOOL chat call this week! I'll leave the agenda loose, however, in case God has other 💡 ideas. Hope to hear your lovely voices this Friday if you are available 🫂 🤗 val

That's a really unique way to look at fear... Can fear be funny....yes... As a new retiree lifelong City dweller and now in a semi rural area... Believe it or not I was over 40 before I knew that the world was pitch black because I always lived with street lights. I live in a senior citizen apartment right across the street from a trail, and the first 9 months of my retirement, my granddaughter lived with me. She was a 15 years old, juvenile delinquent... We decided to go up the trail together. My eyes could barely adjust. I hated the silence. I thought animals were stalking me.. she got me to the top of the mountain and took off running... It was terrifying and hilarious... And it reframed my sense of adventure as an older person... So I can relate terror can be a little fun...
