Best thing-to see kids grow and expand their love of God. Hardest-losing my 6th grader and there is an especially trying kindergartener Best and hardest-seeing and dropping off new and seasoned kids at camp. Excitement for 2026-to see more growth...Last week we started a new curriculum about how to share the gospel... I had groups come and tell me about Jesus and brought their Bible to show scripture!! "I'm so excited and I just can't hide it "(showing my age)
Tithe/Offering
One lesson we had introduced bringing an offering or tithe. We started doing this but the kids do not bring it in. Any suggestions?

1) We aim for visitors to feel welcome and safe at check-in. I normally can call on regulars to make new kids welcome. We do not start until 1035ish and we always spend 5 or so minutes ushering in the Holy Spirit into our service with Kids led prayers. 2) I have 2-3 sword drills and 1 memory verses in each service. Most importantly to me is the kids getting in their bibles and learning the stories they hear are found in the Bible. In the drills all kids have to find them before they are cited out-loud until they all find the verses. The ones who find them quickly help others 😃. Then sometoimes they act out the lesson. 3) I send out welcome emails to the lead family member.

@Tom Nunley we are in a strip mall type building so I just have a sandwich board sign directing kids to check in here. We have a great greeting team that also walks down visitors with the families. If I am up front my helper checks them in... my area is smallish usually I know when there are newbies.
