@Josef Reutershan you are a truly my 2nd favorite human! I was thinking of something.ill DM bc its a delayed response I’m sitting for a dog in heat and 4 cats and have a nutty bunch of surprises that don’t give me focus time. I’ll just say it.. I would like to read a book club nothing super spiritual. I wanted to read the no compromise book and post it. I love reading and I can’t seem to absorb through audible with their AI voices. I was just thinking it’s not a podcast. It’s not a sermon it’s not a testimony. It’s not a revival, but is there any platform where it doesn’t have to be like a certain fellowship it’s just reading a book and that was one of the books that I wanted to reread that was such a little girl when I met his wife, Melody Green and I just think it would be very sedition but you’re the pastor I’m not.
May 15, 2027 - Verse of the Day - 1 John 4:8
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love [1 John 4:8 NIV] Choice is an integral part of love - love cannot exist without the freedom of choice, and God's love for us has given us the power to choose. We have to choose life or death, blessings or curses. We are created in the image of God "who is love," but we still can choose what sort of image we want to reflect to the world. Through the thoughts we build into our brain, which shape our future thoughts, words, and actions, we create the type of world we want to see.

AMEN! I just commented on the prior days verse and somehow was dwelling on the love of God. To now read this passage is confirmation that god is the same yesterday ,today, and forever. It’s important to saturate myself in His word no matter how much I think I know it. I can never overdose on Gods love and presence. I can only be hidden in Christ so much to the point that I burst and have to pass it on.
Verse of the day - May 9, 2026 - Mark 6:31
Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” [Mark 6:31, NIV] We've all experience periods in our life when we're so busy we can barely breathe. You can run from one task to another and by the time you get into bed at night (if you get into bed at all), you feel like you're going to collapse. I know the feeling! At times like these, It's important to remember that our brain needs a good break every now and then. The quality of our quiet time, a time when we go somewhere "lonely and private" and meditate on good things will contribute to the quality of our mental health. When we direct our rest by introspection, self reflection, and prayer; when we catch up on our toxic thoughts; when we study, memorize and quote Scripture; and we develop our minds intellectually, we enhance the default mode network (DMN) that improves brain function and mental, physical, and spiritual health.

This is what is amazing about God’s word… it never fails, lies, or comes back void. Admittedly, I’ve fallen short of being consistent in seeking God’s truth FIRST. I’ve experienced an extremely unanticipated detour in my life in the past few years… but who hasn’t? It’s really commendable of you Pastor Josef to encourage others to follow the truth and light and not walk in lies and darkness. Sounds simple, but it’s not easy. I often hear people( including myself) say how they believe or have faith. Faith is believing in the things hoped for, but not seen. What or whom is this our mouths speak of following and trusting? I am grateful for the commitment and transparency that Pastor Josef is offering and expounding on in th daily thread. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated leader that is exemplifying and exhorting us to jump in the boat. To warm a spot in a building or even attend these study discussions that are designed as religious/spiritual places to corporately connect, fellowship, and worship is only one step of building our connection with the body of Christ and ultimately keeping us accountable and strengthening one another. The ultimate purpose is to be closer to heaven and eternal life. Get there sideways, half stepping, compromising, and by doing things in our own strength. God isn’t a God of confusion or division, or excuses, He is LOVE. I’m so grateful that he loves me enough to know the mistakes I would make and still choose to create me give up his only to take away all of the pain. I am amazed right now and his love for me.
May 13, 2026 - VERSE OF THE DAY - Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. [Matthew 6:10, NIV] We are God's masterpieces, created in His image. We are designed to reflect His glory into the world. We were created to bring heaven to earth. This all sounds wonderful and grand, of course, but how do we do this? How do we bring heaven to earth, as the Lord's prayer says? What does this look like as we go about our daily activities? When we start to think with the mind of the Messiah, renewing our minds and taking thoughts captive, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we change our worldview to one of love, to the world view of heaven. As we plant this new way of thinking deep into our non-conscious minds by directing our attention to and meditating on the Word, we change the structure of our brains in a positive direction. This transformation affects our future thoughts, words, and actions, which impact our environment as we interact with the world around us.

Thanks so much for that reminder! We are God’s masterpiece. It’s easy for me to get wrapped up in the things I see, and even though we live in this world, we’re not of the world. We (ME) have the mind of Christ and are hidden with Christ. I have to fill my human mind more intentionally with Christlike thoughts, actions, words, and HIS truth found in the Bible.
1st Meeting Recording Posted In Classroom
I am looking forward to session two which will follow a PowerPoint presentation, creating greater organization and opportunities for participants input and interaction. Thank you for those of you who toughed it out through this first very rocky session. I have spent a lot of time watching the recording and doing everything I can to make major changes that I believe will improve the flow of the session making it both more educational and more interactive with much more input from participants. I hope to see you there.

Thank you for being a living example of Gods handiwork(Glory.) I didn’t feel I was toughing anything out personally by participating in the first session. I truly look forward to seeing how things evolve. Some people stay. some go, appreciate your willingness and obedience to take the time out and just encourage myself and others to prioritize and set aside time to connect, study, question, support each other, and share personal input. I think it’s how interactive we want to be as well. Know what an individual wants to get out this group.
