2 contributions to Where Truth Meets Self-Trust
As an adult with kids, have you ever had to move back in with your parents? What was that experience like for you?
How did that experience go for you? Did your parents make you feel welcomed or like a burden on them. I ask this question because I’m now currently going through this situation and it has turned out to be the worse experience of my entire life. It’s to the point where giving the first opportunity I’m moving as far away as possible and never coming back. When you start seeing people for who they really are, as an adult, especially family it becomes very hard to see them as the same people who raised you. So please share your experiences and thoughts

Need advice or a nonjudgmental opinion
My background includes lived experience, parenthood, and years of supporting others through learning and personal growth. Navigating responsibility, healing, and self-trust in real life shaped how I approach faith, boundaries, and discernment today. That journey informs how I walk alongside others in this work. Ask what you’re carrying. No perfect wording needed. Hard questions welcome. I’ll respond from my truth, not from a pedestal.
