n8n vs Zapier (for agency owners)
Quick breakdown after exploring automation tools 👇 Zapier = easy, fast, beginner-friendly n8n = flexible, powerful, builder-focused Zapier is great when you want something running in 10 minutes. n8n is better when: – You need logic (IF/ELSE decisions) – You want custom workflows – You care about long-term scalability – You don’t want per-task pricing limits I’m personally leaning into n8n because I want control, not just convenience. Agency owners — are you optimizing for speed or scalability right now?

I’ll Automate Your Business Bottlenecks
Hey everyone, I’ve spent the last few months going deep into AI automation and low-code tools, and I’m now actively looking for my first real client project. I mainly use n8n and Claude Code, and I’ve built several working systems, including: • Automated lead generation and enrichment workflows • A cold outreach system with tracking • A proposal agent that converts meeting transcripts into ready to send proposals • An AI generated UGC automation workflow I currently work in a Business Analyst/Junior Product Manager role in one of Africa’s leading Fintech company’s but my goal is to transition full time into building my own AI automation agency. I’ve been involved in initiatives such as enabling Apple Pay on the platform and helping improve interoperability between banks. A big part of my role is drafting detailed requirements, mapping processes end to end, and properly scoping projects, which has strengthened my ability to design automation systems that are clear, structured, and accurate. Although I haven’t worked with a client yet, I’ve put in serious hours learning, building, testing, and refining these systems. I’m highly motivated, disciplined, and eager to provide real value to real businesses. If anyone in this community needs help automating a manual process or wants to experiment with AI in their business, I would genuinely love to help!

@Julio César Martin del campo We can discuss about this project.
Simple n8n workflow every agency should have
If you run an agency, here’s a basic automation I think everyone should build: New Lead Form Submitted → Send Internal Slack/Email Alert → Add to CRM → Send Personalized Confirmation Email → Create Follow-Up Task That’s it. Nothing fancy. Just structured. While learning n8n, I realized most agencies lose leads not because of bad marketing — but because of slow follow-up. Automation isn’t about complexity. It’s about removing delay. Question: How fast does your team respond to a new lead right now?

Most automation fails before it even starts
While learning n8n, I noticed something important: Automation doesn’t fail because of tools. It fails because the process is unclear. If you can’t explain your workflow like this: Trigger → Action → Decision → Outcome You’re not ready to automate it yet. n8n is teaching me to think like a systems operator, not just a tool user. Agency owners — before automating something, can you clearly describe the exact steps your team follows today? If not, that’s probably the first bottleneck.
