I am creating an AI tool for generating Instagram Carousel Posts
Let me start with a little background about the problem. When I made my first Instagram Page, I knew what content to post for my audience but I just couldn't be consistent. I managed to get my first 3k followers within the first few months. It was ok, but I was not able to post consistently, something that many people struggle with. I used to follow a fixed pattern when creating carousel posts 1. Gather the text that I need to write 2. Open up Canva 3. Chose beautiful background images from Pexels 4. Write the text on the background image 5. Add a little bit of branding and post Fast forward a few years and ChatGPT is launched. I realized (being a programmer) that all of this can now be AUTOMATED with AI. So, I began working on the platform for creating Carousel posts for IG. And it works exactly in the same way I created posts manually, except that it uses AI. It uses OpenAI APIs to create the content and fetches images via Pexels API and combines them in an HTML Canvas element which can then be downloaded as an Image. But why Carousel posts? Because Carousel posts have the highest engagement rate (excluding reels) on Instagram as per Later[dot]com And now, with this software I created, I am able to create a Carousel post in less than a minute's time. Sounds cool right? This platform solves the real problem of creating meaningful content quickly and helps stay consistent on social media. This is going to help freelancers who create content for their clients, small to mid-size businesses trying to level up their social media, or even individuals looking to grow their social media. I am yet to release it publicly as it's still in beta and might contain a few bugs. I am also polishing the platform and making it more presentable and user-friendly. If you need free access to the software to test it out, just send me a DM and I'll give you free access to it. In return, please help me improve the platform with your feedback. I will post here once I launch it publicly. I am sure it'll help many.

👨‍💻 Vibe Coding! Now anyone can code?
Andrej Karpathy introduced the world to Vibe Coding. With tools like Cursor, yes now anyone can code. But that brings some questions to the mind. 1. If you have never coded before, should you skip the "learning" and directly jump into writing code with AI? 2. Should you blindly trust the code that AI gave us? 3. Should you focus more on the speed of development rather than understanding the codebase? 4. If you are a developer, how often should you Vibe code? 5. Should you skip learning the basics, and syntax of a new programming language? Let's answer them here - 1. Now, if you are new to programming or have never coded before, I would definitely suggest at least going through the basic syntax of a Programming Language. Python is a good option. The good news is, you can do it inside of Cursor itself. Just use the Chat. Ask it, about the syntax. Ask it to elaborate. Ask for examples. Use Chat to learn the language. 2. Once you know the basic syntax, "do not" trust the code the AI gave you. And the reason is, there are several ways of doing a particular thing in coding. For eg. there are many ways to write a function to find the nth Fibonacci number like using loops, or recursion. You might need a recursion-based solution, but AI gave a loop-based solution. You know what you are looking for, but AI doesn't. It's a good idea to cross-check what AI gave you. 3. Careless speed coding every time is like eating fast food every day. They have their repercussions. If you (blindly) rely on AI to code every day, your code base can eventually grow very complex. So complex that you've to spend hours figuring it out when debugging something. Do not sacrifice the code quality with speed. Understanding what you are doing is important. Small progress is better than making big progress that you don't understand. 4. I have a rule, you can Vibe code often, but not without reviewing the AI-generated code. Some give an 80-20 rule, but many developers admit using it 99% of the time. AI coding is the future. As models get more powerful, developers will eventually rely more on them. You should get good at coding with AI. But with caution. Understand what you write. Keep your code organized. 5. No, you should not. You should learn the basics. Nothing replaces our ability to think and come up with creative solutions. When coding with AI, sometimes you will hit a wall. And then you'll have to use your thinking brain.

👑 What makes Cursor the king of AI Code Editors
You already know about Cursor, the AI Coding editor. It’s interesting how quickly Cursor has become the most powerful tool in a developer’s arsenal. With $100M ARR in just 21 months, Cursor is now the fastest-growing SaaS …ever. But AI coding editors/extensions is a highly competitive space, with new VS Code extensions coming up and newer competitors like Trae, and Windsurf. It’s hard to be the winner. I’ve been using Cursor IDE for a while, and I love it. Here’s why I think it stands out (at least for now) - - A friend of mine canceled his Cursor subscription and got a thoughtful, well-written email asking for feedback. It was not like other automated emails you receive from other companies. There is one thing common in all successful companies - they care about their customers. - Besides all the cool features, there is their ability to understand what their customers need. Before the “Agent” feature, they only had the option to chat and edit the code. So, we had to add the files to its context for it to give the best results. And then they launched “Agents” which I think is the single most powerful feature of Cursor, being able to access our entire code base and perform required actions. I’ve had instances when Cursor Agent would complete my code using a utility function that was there somewhere in my code, and I had completely forgotten about it. - Besides the above customer-focused stuff, they have a very robust set of features. See the attached image/PDF for a list of features taken from their website. How has been your experience of using AI Coding Tools? Do let me know in the comments below 👇 PS: I help companies develop AI products. I provide custom AI Software Development as a service. 🤔 Do not outsource your “thinking” to AI 💭
I became so used to ChatGPT that for almost all writing tasks, I turned to it. But now, I have three good reasons why we should not rely too heavily on AI for tasks that require creative thinking. 1. Your brain is like a muscle, it needs exercise. Neural pathways follow the rule: "Use it or lose it." If you completely stop exercising your thinking muscle, it will weaken over time. And just to remind you, thinking is what separates us from other species. 2. It lacks authenticity. If your friend does your homework for you, it doesn’t mean you did it. So if you ask AI to do it for you, it’s a robot that did the work and not you. Your real-life experiences and expertise are worth more than some random AI generated texts. 3. Expert eyes can tell when content is AI-generated (at least for now, if you're not using a good prompt). As you can see, I wrote this post—not AI. If your goal is to capture your readers' attention, sounding too robotic will only push them away. For programmers: Do not skip learning the basics of a language or framework. Before you press the "Accept" button on Cursor, at least review the changes and make sure they make sense. Do not stop thinking. Picture this: what would happen if you started consuming fast food every day? It might save you time, but eventually, you’d fall sick. Your mind also needs nutritious "food"—real thinking. You get the idea. If AI excites you, consider following—I’m planning to write more. Found this helpful? Share it with your friends! Thanks! Shahrukh

✨ I Used to Ignore Content Creation – Then I Learned This ✨
I used to wonder why people spend so much time and money producing content. It was only when I started my own business and read Alex Hormozi's book "100M Leads" that I realized how important it is. The truth is, it’s hard to get people to know about your work. No matter how skilled you are, you won’t be able to monetise your skills unless people know about them. Picture this — you're alone in a desert with a brand-new, latest iPhone. Your task is to sell it. Despite millions of people willing to buy it, you won't be able to sell it because no one knows you have it. The only way to sell it is to let people know about it. When it comes to promoting your services, you have two options: 1. Pay for ads 2. Create content to spread the word organically Not everyone has a massive budget for ads, which makes content creation the clear winner. You don't need a huge following to start. Last month, I got a client who messaged me on WhatsApp after watching one of my YouTube videos. The video had only 915 views and was uploaded a year ago. You see, it's possible! Don't be the guy stuck in a desert with an iPhone. Advertise your skills. Let people know what you can offer. Think about all the people who could benefit from what you do. PS: I know how hard it is to post consistently. That's why I built an AI tool that generates stunning carousel content from just a prompt, web search, or URL. If you're interested, comment below and I'll share the link with you. The attached images are generated using this tool. PPS: I help businesses build full-stack AI applications that automate their workflows. Let me know if I can help you with anything.
