1. Who is your perfect customer? Demographics, income, job, location, beliefs, internet usage habits, etc. More specific is better (and more effective). And importantly: how do they describe themselves? Don’t skimp on the details here. To do this, you might find it helpful to visualize 3-5 of your best prospects--real-life customers who you would love to clone. Our perfect customer is a mix of both service-based and product-based business owners across any niche. We’re open to helping anyone share their story, grow their business, or get the support they need through the freelancing services we offer. They may be business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, or individuals—male or female, 35 years and older—who are busy, passionate, and dedicated but need support handling the everyday tasks that keep their business running. They come from all around the world, both United States and international clients, and they each carry their own unique personalities. Some are more spiritual and creative, while others are practical and business-minded—but all share one thing in common: a desire to grow, stay motivated, and get professional, heart-led help for their business. They describe themselves like this: “I’m great at what I do, but I just need help getting organized.” “I’m passionate about my business, but I don’t have time to do it all myself.” “I wish I had someone I could trust to help me grow and show up online.” We help different business owners in any niche, as long as they align with wanting to grow, share their story, and receive the support they deserve. 2. What are their problems/burning pains/fears? Preferably, those which your product actually solves. What’s causing them to suffer every day? What does that suffering look like? What situation/outcome do they desperately want to avoid? What are they afraid of, guilty about, frustrated by, or seething mad at? I want you to go to town on this answer. Our clients are overwhelmed trying to balance their passion with the daily demands of running a business.
