🌟Monday Announcements!
Welcome back, coaches! I hope you had a great weekend. I'm visiting my team in Colombia this week, so that's why we won't have a live event today, but next week, on Monday at 5 pm EST, I'm bringing a LinkedIn expert, the head of marketing of my company, to talk about creating content that generates leads. ✍️ We'll share the content strategy that turns into sales and copywriting tips that will help you elevate the quality of your LinkedIn posts. This week, we'll talk about the importance of hiring a coach, so stay tuned for this week's challenge and debate!

🧐 Wednesday debate - Getting More Leads
We are back with another debate focusing on phase 1 to scale your business to 7 figures related to how to get more leads and clients. I want us to share our experiences and answer these questions: - Do you think having a lead magnet is the key to a good conversion rate? - Is LinkedIn the best way to get organic leads? Let us all know by commenting here!

@Daniel Botero Linkedin would be good for my target but from stats Tik Tok doesn't appear to appeal to the 40 year old and above crowd, my direct niche. I use pinterest. I don't even know if one can have more than one linkedin acct? I have to reserve mine for my professional career.

@Ibrahim Farah Thank you so much Nathan. I’ll have to think about maybe just reinventing my established LinkedIn. Ah you agree on tik tok, thank you my friend.
💡Tuesday Challenge - Create a Strong Lead Magnet
Happy Tuesday, coaches! Yesterday, we had a great session where I shared the 3 phases of building a seven-figure career coaching business. As I shared during the live event, the longest and most challenging phase is number 1, which is related to marketing and sales and is not about efficiency but getting money that will push through the next phases to scale your business. Focusing on phase 1, in which the main focus is on getting more leads and clients, the challenge that I have for you is: 🧲 Build a strong lead magnet 🧲 It could be a webinar, masterclass, or anything that serves as proof that you know what you are talking about and brings value to your target audience. Personally, I tried using some different lead magnets, but the most successful one was a weekly live Zoom masterclass where I talked about something related to job search. Depending on the amount of leads that you have, you can do it weekly or every two weeks. You can check the recording HERE if you want to learn more about mastering the 3 phases. I also made a YouTube video explaining the key of each phase, so feel free to check it out and ask me any questions!

@Daniel Botero Hi Dan, I don't coach employment here but I do run a 3 plus year YT channel on "Interviewing skills and how to land the job." I am an executive at a hospital and have interviewed high level and entry for over 25 years. The trick is the interview, nothing else is as important...it is the interview. I have sample interviews for various kind of jobs, etc. https://youtu.be/wNsjis_4DWs?si=bhJmXDhdYTqbzSit Just a sample for you, you can delete when done as I have no interest in "walking" on your SKOOL... Cheers friend.
💡Best Practice Thursday: Take time off!
Hello, everyone! As we continue discussing work-life balance and the lessons we have learned, I wanted to share some advice that has changed my business. 🏖️Take at least 4 weeks off per year and motivate your team to take a vacation as well. I used to struggle with taking time off, but once I started doing it, I felt better. I got more creative, felt recharged and motivated, and it helped me to be more productive. You should lead by example and if you don't take vacation, your team is less likely to do it too. As career coaches and business owners in the early stages, I understand it can be hard for you to take time off, so if you don't want to fully disconnect, block times to enjoy your other activities and passions without distractions. This is one lesson that has improved my life, and since I recently turned 34, I wanted to share the 34 life lessons I wish I knew sooner. Let me know which one resonates with you the most!

Hi Dan, I can attest to what you said. I don't the stats here but I am a working professional while starting my coaching on the side for the last 6 months. I realized, about 7 years ago, that yes, we need time for ourselves. I run a large dept at a hospital in my City and about 7 years ago, we (my wife and I) started taking cruises. People ask me, "what is the best part of the cruise?" The location? The sights? The food? None of the above. The best part for me is turning off both phones for those 12-15 days and just being unplugged. It is so nice not being a slave to my phones, looking down every 5 seconds, texting, etc..NONE OF THAT! That is the best part, unplugging from the Matrix.... So I agree with your advice wholeheartedly.

It's what I teach...take time for yourself as that is most important. Without you being sane and mentally fit, you cannot help yourself or others. I manage 245 people and this is what I tell them weekly and practice it myself. Important to "show" what you mean in the corporate world than just talk it and it carries over into business as well. Thank you my friend.
