For all the self-hosters out there: Check out SearXNG => https://docs.searxng.org/ and https://github.com/searxng/searxng?tab=readme-ov-file This is my goto way to let my AI Agents search stuff on the internet. SearXNG is a Meta Search Engine that gathers results from up to 239 search services, including google, brave, wikipedia and so on. I simply run this in a Docker-Container and access it via the HTTP-Request tool. Way better then SERP-API in my opinion => and way cheaper ;-).

Hi everyone,I'm currently trying to integrate Claude Desk with an MCp in n8n. I'm running into an issue where the MCP doesn't seem to be recognized or queried properly from Desk. I'm using Sonnet 4 (the free version), and I was wondering: is it only possible to query an MCP from Desk if you're using Sonnet 3.7 (which requires a paid plan)? Could that be why the MCP isn't being accessed correctly? Thanks in advance for any help! Emanuele

I've discovered that in the self-hosted version of n8n, it's possible to grant admin privileges by modifying the database, a feature typically reserved for Enterprise users. I'm curious about the community's perspective on this - what are the ethical and practical implications? - Should we consider this a breach of trust, or is it a fair use of the open-source flexibility?
