Question about apps
Hi Jake, reading more on airtable. Excuse the basic questions here but why would someone want to build their own app for their work?

More airtable questions!
Hi Jake, as you know I am looking at click up as a PM tool but also wondering about AirTable because I want to choose something that will move with me in future. Does the data you put into airtable stay there and can you export? Do you have to pay extra for the additional apps you use within airtable? Can it be backed up? How secure is it? Are all automations handled through Zapier? My experience of zapier is that when something crashes (which it does from time to time) i have found it tricky to know how to fix it as a non-tech person. So no code is my preference. Thanks

@Jacob Wilson thanks Jake. I ask Q1 because In Click Up it has a docs feature, so you can house your data within the system, but all the reviews say not to use that feature because it’s hard to manage the data inside the system and to use google or dropbox instead. That means you have to access the data from the cloud. My sales data is all held directly in my sales CRM as an example. I’m assuming (maybe wrongly) that data is easier to manage and manipulate if it’s housed directly within a system?

Hi well I have found airtable’s marketing a barrier to learning. They ask for too many forms to complete before you can see their info. I’m looking at project and work management systems i can use ti organise my projects, house processes and liaise with clients. I’m looking at click up and like what i see so far. Wondering what the differences are
