Monday Devotional: A New Beginning
📖 “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”— Lamentations 3:22–23 Every morning God hands you a fresh start — a clean slate, a blank canvas. A brand-new day filled with opportunity. Some days will be extraordinary, some will feel ordinary, but each one is a gift from Him. A new chance to grow, to serve, to run with purpose, and to walk in faith. Today is a special new beginning for our movement here at HolyFit.Our online apparel store is officially open, and now we have the opportunity to represent our faith — boldly and publicly — on the roads, the trails, in the gym, and through everyday life. This is bigger than clothing. It’s a declaration of who we stand for. But let’s not lose sight of the mission.HolyFit isn’t about selling apparel. It's about growing as runners, as endurance athletes, and most importantly, as followers of Jesus Christ. It's about discipleship. Community. Encouragement. Faith lived out loud. The apparel is simply a tool — a way to share the Gospel through action, identity, and presence. The heart of this movement will always be Christ. The mission is to build a community that strengthens both the body and the spirit, and walks boldly in the good news of Jesus. I’m excited. I’m grateful. And I’m honored you’re here. 🕊️Reflection & Prayer Reflection: What does God want to write on the blank slate of my life today? How can I use this new beginning to honor Him more intentionally — in my faith, in my training, and in the way I show up for this community? Prayer: Lord, thank You for a new beginning. Thank You for fresh mercy every morning. Lead this movement, guide this community, and keep our hearts centered on You. Bless every step we take, every person we reach, and every opportunity You give us. Help us represent You boldly and live out our faith with purpose and endurance.

Saturday Devotional: Weathering the Seasons
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 Hey HolyFit fam, I missed posting yesterday’s devotional — life got busy, and that’s on me. But maybe that’s part of the reminder today: life moves in seasons. Some are bright and easy; others feel long, cold, and demanding. Here in Iowa, we’re about to get our first taste of snow and real cold. The trails will freeze, the wind will sting, and that familiar comfort of warm weather running will fade fast. But just like in faith — growth still happens in the hard seasons. The roots go deeper when conditions get tougher. Running in the cold takes preparation and grit, just like walking with God through a storm. You bundle up, you press on, and you trust that the season won’t last forever. Spring always comes. The warmth always returns. So whether your season right now feels frozen or full of life, stay steady. God is still working, still teaching, still leading you — one faithful step at a time. 🕊️ Reflection: Lord, thank You for every season — the easy ones and the hard ones. Help me to trust You in the cold and the quiet, knowing that You’re preparing something new beneath the surface.

3 Tips to Start Running the Right Way
Thinking about getting into running? Or maybe you’re getting back into it after some time off? Here are 3 real tips to help you start strong — and actually enjoy the process: 1️⃣ Get the Right Shoes Don’t just grab a pair off the shelf at a sporting goods store. Go to your local running shop and get properly fitted. They’ll size your feet, watch your stride, and recommend the right shoe whether you’re running roads, trails, or something in between. 👉 The wrong shoes can make running miserable — trust me on that one. 2️⃣ Start Slow If you haven’t run in a while (or ever), don’t lace up and go hammer out four miles on day one. Start small. Even half a mile is a great beginning. It took me years to build up endurance — it won’t happen overnight. Be patient, or you’ll end up sore, miserable, and injured. 3️⃣ Be Grateful You can do this. And that’s a blessing. Remember to thank God for the ability to move, breathe, and run — even if it’s just a quarter mile. There are many who would love to, but physically can’t. Every step is a gift.
