One big step towards 4000 watch hours. As of this morning I’m at 1126 watch hours. Went from like 165 to 1126 in 12 days or so. I’m looking at in 1000 hour blocks. Also need a couple 100 more followers to hit 1000. Should hit 1000 by end of the month.

I made a video 8 or 9 days ago “Don’t Let The Old Man In”. My channel is for men over 50. It’s a weight loss , get fit and healthy channel. The video is by far the best in terms of views, watch hours, etc. I do NO editing.😂 Although I do want to learn how to put a few videos together. Well I noticed tonight all these men commenting and liking the video. Turns out the “Legion of Men” channel 575,000 subs has my video on his channel and talks about it and then tell them to go subscribe to my channel and watch some videos!! Don’t think I will be able to sleep tonight. He only did this about 4-5 hours ago. My watch hours are up 100 hours it looks like and my subs are up close to 200!! I only had 347 subs when he put the video on his channel and maybe 400 watch hours. Can I possibly get monetized from this one channel helping me out? 15,000 men on his channel watched the video he made about me so far. This is crazy!!!

As part of my challenge to post one video per day until I reach 100 videos by February 2nd, 2025, I’ve already posted 44 videos in 44 days! During this time, I’ve received 3657 views, 199.2 watch hours, and have now 149 followers (+46). I’m committed to posting daily “imperfectly perfect” videos, until I hit 100 videos!

I have a lot of videos I made for my Facebook Page the last few years. But they were all made in a vertical format. Is there a way to change them to landscape?

My channel is on a roll lately, I am currently at 3.200 subscribers and uploaded a video on Monday that reached 10k views today! ☺️And I want to share my learnings from this video with you. The biggest factor for the alogrithm to push out the video to more people appears to be a good CTR for me. If the CTR is good (5% and above), view duration doesn't really seem to matter that much. While this particular video has an AVD of around 40%, I've had successful videos in the past with an AVD of only 25%. Another strategy that seems to be working for me is to focus on trending topics. For my niche (knitting and creating a sustainabele, handmade wardrobe), trending topics are often related to the season, so at the moment this would be Christmas, winter and gift making. I hope that's helpful to anyone. 🙂
