Know how to fix this Zapier automation?
I'm having trouble with this zapier automation folks... My group members' contact details are not being passed to GHL's Crm when they join my Skool community. This 2min Loom vid illustrates the issue

Looks like the Loom link broke, but from what you described, it sounds like the data isn’t mapping correctly between Skool and GHL. That usually happens if the trigger event in Zapier isn’t pulling the “member joined” data fields or if GHL’s contact object doesn’t recognize them. Try double-checking the Zap trigger sample data and the “Create/Update Contact” step mapping. If Skool only sends basic info, you might need a formatter or webhook step to pass custom fields properly. If you want, I can take a look at your Zap setup. These Skool → GHL automations can be a bit picky sometimes.

@Doug Miller Wow, that’s really cool, man. 30 years in accounting and now moving into ai and GHL—that’s big 🔥 I like how you’re using what you already know to help small business owners in a new way. That mix of experience and automation is going to hit different. How’s the switch been going so far?

@Steeven O welcome! Good to have you here! GHL has a lot to learn, but once you start playing around with it, things click fast. What part are you most trying to learn first?
Lead generation help needed
Hi everyone, Alin is my name.. Looking to implement a very efficient lead generation method in my saas for my fellow affiliate marketers. Right now.. i only got auto dm'ers for fb and insta but its hosted in cloud. I need something embedded and not necessarily auto dm'ers!

That’s an interesting setup, Alin, love how you’re thinking about building something more native and efficient. Are you looking to capture leads directly inside your SaaS or route them to an external CRM?
B2B CRM
Hey everyone, Looking to use GHL as our b2b crm for our clients. Anyone here have solid experience importing lead lists as contacts etc? Things to watch for, be mindful of etc? We are not looking for mass cold email solutions, we will call first and get permission etc.

That’s good using GHL for B2B, it’s super powerful once it’s set up right. I’ve helped a few teams transition their lead lists into GHL, and the biggest thing I’ve learned is data cleanliness saves your sanity later. Make sure you normalize fields before import (name formats, phone numbers, tags, etc.) because once it’s messy, automations can start acting funny. Also, love that you’re doing permission-based outreach, that’s the right way to build long-term trust with leads. If you ever hit a snag with mapping or workflow syncing after import, happy to share what’s worked best for me. GHL’s flexibility is gold once you get the structure dialed in.
