Angelfish eggs should look firm, translucent, and lightly amber when they’re healthy. Over the next day or two, you’ll start seeing the first signs of development — tiny dark dots forming inside each egg. That’s the embryo beginning to take shape. A few things to watch for early on: • White eggs → infertile or fungus • Clear, firm eggs → healthy and developing • Parents fanning → good sign they’re doing their job • No movement yet → totally normal at this stage This is one of the most exciting parts of the hobby because everything that happens next — wigglers, free‑swimmers, survival rate — starts right here.
