5 Wheels is Back
2 days ago I hit 495 on squat for the first time in over a year. I wasn’t hurt or injured, instead my training has varied and shifted away from heavy compounds. Recently I have had the urge to lift heavier and see where my strength resides. I feel great and plan to keep heavy compounds back in my training going forward. My competitive spirit is still fresh and I’m excited to execute more heavy lifts 💪

@Sebastian Lisker Arango I make sure to have some form of carbs throughout the day before I lift. I don’t carb overload before because I don’t find it extremely necessary. I like having somewhat of an empty stomach before lifting. The amount of grams of fat to eat on a bulk varies per person and what the other macro nutrient intake is.

Yo it’s Mike! Pleasure to be here working with everyone. I was born and raised in AZ and been here since. Now in Chandler. Been training my whole life and have known Sebas ever since we started with soccer together 💪 After soccer I competed in powerlifting at ASU and was a 3 time collegiate national powerlifter in 3 different weight classes. I’m also a musical artist and perform all around AZ frequently. Stage name is “GC MIKE” My main genre is hip hop but am branching into a variety of musical styles. I’m glad to be here and spread the benefits of fitness and continue to become the best I can.
