Welcome to CNC Startups! Introduce Yourself! 🎉
I’m Ryan, the founder of this group and a passionate CNC entrepreneur. I’m super excited to have you all here. This community is all about helping each other grow, learn, and create with CNC machines—whether you’re just starting or looking to take your skills to the next level. Here’s a little about me: - I’ve been working with CNC machines for 10 years, building a business and helping others do the same. - My favorite thing about CNC is turning a simple design into a product that people love. - Fun fact: I love Bourbon and Tequila, and have over 100 bottles in my collection/stash Now it’s your turn! In the comments, let us know: - Your name and where you’re from - What stage are you at in your CNC journey (just starting, hobbyist, business owner, etc.)? - What you’re most excited to create or learn with CNC - A fun fact about yourself! Looking forward to getting to know everyone and seeing what amazing projects we’ll create together!

I'm retired and have been around a bit. I discovered my passion is in the creative process and strive to obtain knowledge in whatever area of interest and if in the process I come up with what I think might be one of many different solutions I am happy to share. I own the Onefinity foreman Elite and am just stepping into this new and exciting world. We have had what some may say was a moderately successful one year old side hustle on Etsy with my laser business and that allowed us to pay for the cnc. We live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy spending time with family. I look forward to seeing what others are doing in the cnc world and if I can contribute happy to do so.

Vacuum Table with controllable zones
New to Group Just thought I’d share my vac table that works great. It utilizes 3 zones with 2 vac ports per zone. There are 3 ball valves and plugs to shut off different zones so you aren't trying to hold down areas where your work piece isn't touching. Within each zone one of the ports can be shut down to increase suction. The system was made with 2” pipe and fittings. Remember to seal with paint or clear coat all of the cut grid lines and around the vac ports because MDF when sanded or cut allows air to flow through those areas. Currently using 6 peak hp shop vac which was laying around and just ordered a 220v vac motor model #122178-18 and gasket from www.centralvacuummotor.com there is a 110v version as well. There are 4 quick pics, my total cost minus vac $275
