We talk a lot about AI visuals. What about emotion?
With the tools we have today, we can finally express ideas and emotions through film in ways that were not always accessible before. AI has made it possible for more people to create. But more importantly, it has made it possible to tell stories that can make an audience feel something. That, to me, is what matters most. This short film came from a thought that stayed with me for a long time. As a parent of two children, I was deeply affected by the news of a school in Minab, Iran being struck during the war. Many young girls who had gone to school that morning never made it back home. It made me reflect on something very simple. The everyday routine of sending our children to school. Moments we often take for granted. This film is built around that idea. No spectacle. No excess. Just a quiet observation of a morning that begins like any other. I won’t say much more. Would love for you to watch it.

A Story I Always Wanted to Tell
It’s that time of the year when, in this part of the world, we are flooded with Chinese New Year films. I’ve always been drawn to the emotional ones, the kind that leave you with that lingering, tingling feeling. I’ve always wanted to make a film like that, but honestly, I never had the opportunity. Budget was always the biggest limitation. That’s changed. Through AI, I was finally able to create this story. In many ways, this film reflects my own personal journey. It’s something I’ve wanted to say for a long time, and now I finally could. This film is very close to my heart, and I hope it inspires a few, if not all, to be resilient, to keep walking, and to never give up on the ones who matter most. Tech stack used: Nano Banana and Midjourney for images Kling and Higgsfield for video Suno for music Wishing everyone a blessed Chinese New Year. Xin Nian Kuai Le.

Budget is no longer a cage for creativity. 🎾🔥
For a good part of my career writing and directing sports commercials, I faced a recurring reality: big ideas colliding with limited marketing budgets. For massive events like the Australian Open, I often had to "tone down" the creative vision to make the dollars stretch for the rest of the year. Today, the Australian Open begins, and I wanted to prove a point with this concept spot: A small budget is no longer an excuse for not knocking a project out of the park. AI is here to help us stretch our ideas and create without limits. But let’s be clear about one thing, it’s not magic. It’s not as simple as typing a prompt and turning dust into gold. To make this work, you still have to burn the midnight oil. You still need the research, the storyboards, the treatment notes, and a sharp eye for details. AI doesn't replace the craft; it amplifies the craftsman. I’m thrilled with how this turned out. If you have any questions regarding the workflow, feel free to ask in the comments! MANIFESTATION 2026
Hey guys, Happy New Year! 🥂 I wanted to challenge myself to create a coherent narrative film. This piece is a tribute to Singapore’s founding vision, linking our history to our future in space. I focused heavily on visual rhyming—starting with a drawing in a book and ending with the reality in space. Tech Stack: Mid-journey, Nano Banana Pro, Kling, Freepik, ElevenLabs (Voice) and Cap Cut (Editing). Let me know what you think!
