Building the Future, One Custom Space at a Time
Hi everyone! I’m Ben, a proud dad, husband, and general contractor based in Ontario, Canada. I’m thrilled to be part of this inspiring community and can’t wait to connect with all of you. The "You Can Build This" call really resonates with me because, as a contractor, I’m passionate about turning ideas into reality and creating spaces that people love. I run Rondeau Homes with my wife, Erica, and together we specialize in custom builds and renovations. You can check out our work at rondeau-homes.ca or follow us on Instagram @rondeauhomes. I’m here to learn, share, and grow alongside all of you. Let’s build something incredible together!

Hello
Helping My Father-in-Law Build His Dream Auto Shop – Offering Free Tech Projects
I’m Saer — I have a background in cybersecurity, voice AI, and automations. My specialty is building smart automations that save time, cut manual tasks, and help small businesses scale. I joined this group to get guidance on how to help my father-in-law. He’s been doing auto body work for over 20 years and dreams of having his own shop — but he lacks the business mindset to make it real. If you’ve built your own service-based business or know the steps to get started, I’d love to learn from you. As a thank-you, I’m offering 5 free tech projects this month — including landing pages, AI voice agents, or custom automations — to members willing to share advice. Let’s build something great together!

Hi Saer, That’s an amazing way to give back, offering your skills in exchange for guidance. I think your father-in-law already has the most important part down: 20+ years of hands-on experience. What he needs now is structure around branding, simple client acquisition, and repeatable processes. From my side as someone who works with CRMs and small business systems, I’ve seen how even a lightweight setup, a basic landing page, an intake form for estimates, and a simple follow-up system can make a service business feel like a “real shop” quickly. It gives consistency and makes clients feel taken care of.
