Funnily enough, the episode filmed on Sunday will touch on this topic. Look at you though, naturally shin pinning and quadrant passing! Love to see it. The biggest issue I saw was your second leg being quite heavy and therefore struggled posting in the correct spots. Which led your opponent to off balance you further leading to that almost crab ride situation (great recovery btw). Second thing to add is the posture. I typically will try to pick my opponents hips up so they run out of rotation and are somewhat stacked on their overhook. You look like you would've been tall enough to also pin his wrist which would have stopped him with further off balancing. @Ryan Borysko

All in all looking good. Couple of things to mention in regards to where’s good for you and where isn’t Your ability to get to chest to chest is very good from the half guard. Maintaining top position and dealing with their recovery is also very good. Good dilemmas and good pressure from your end. The things to work on for you on top is pre half guard. That layer before you get to chest to chest and even the knee shield looks like there’s gaps. Your build presents an ‘occupier of space’ and not an ‘engulfer of space’. Therefore I believe you need to keep you arms closer to you and work that inside space as opposed to spreading out like in that unders position. On the bottom I know you like the octopus and you are good at it. However I think it’s important to shoulder frame and arm frame as opposed to hip framing. Funnily enough the moment you did arm frame you almost got to your octopus position. All in all. You’re a beast. Hope you recover well my friend.

Ep3. Quadrant Style Passing
This was one of the smaller (in participants) and shorter (duration) Sunday sessions. 4 days prior I had displaced my meniscus and was not feeling the greatest in regards to my movements. There is no rest for my mission in this however. I ran the session and it's probably one of my more important sessions. Quadrant style passing is something I have not heard anyone else use. It's how I tackle the trickiest of guards (conceptually). Due to so many of the boys missing this Episode and since hard launching Method In Chaos last week. I've decided to put this episode up for free. Hope everyone enjoys it :)

Send us your rolling footage
I'll be filming for @Jayden Chelkowski and @Ryan Borysko tomorrow per their requests. I am thinking of doing something new to build this page whilst I'm not under the pump. For free - I am happy to see your rolling footage, whether it be from a match or the gym. Post them on this channel and I'll critique it with my thoughts. If I need to go further in depth I might even make a video on it. Feel free to post any ideas as well on this page. Happy to help out if I can :)
