Being Happy With Who You Are
As we strive to become out highest self, we sometimes forget to be happy with who we are. For some, the idea that who they are now is defective or not good enough creeps in. After all, if we strive to be better, doesn't that mean we are not now enough? Of course the answer to that is a resounding "NO!!" We ARE enough! We are also right where we need to be and in divine timing. Being happy with who we are is necessary for joy to exist. Being happy with ourselves does not mean giving up on self improvement, it just means we fully integrate higher and from a happy place. Let's all take some time each day and celebrate ourselves. Go ahead...you deserve it!

Great post @Lee Simmons. It's easy to think you're not good enough if you are striving for that better version. I learned to embrace myself and the fact that I like self-development. Not from a place of being insecure or unhappy, but from just wanting to live the best life possible.

It reminds me of this quote ''Proud, but never satisfied''. Honestly, I think it's a bit heavy because never being satisfied wouldn't really be a good thing to me. I would change it to ''Proud and striving for more'', something like that.
Keep your quiet mind.
Trying to untangle someone else's twisted version of the truth is an exhausting, endless maze. When a person constantly rewrites the story to make you the villain, arguing only feeds their need for control. You do not have to defend your character or correct their illusions. True peace comes from simply stepping off their stage. Let them keep their heavy narrative. You keep your quiet mind.

Most people make problems out to be so big, but for others it's next to nothing. So there is really no need to make them that big. I try to look at my problems from a distant perspective, and it works most of the time.

I do want to add something to the first one. If one doesn't react, but the issue eats him or her up inside, that wouldn't necessarily make one stronger I'd say. Having peace in not reacting is key in this.
