New Episode Monday....Epitalon Explained: The Science of Telomeres, Aging & Longevity
Is Epitalon the closest thing we have to an anti-aging peptide—or is the science being overstated? In this episode of Peptides Explained, John Garrett breaks down the biology behind Epitalon (Epithalon) and explains why this small four-amino-acid peptide has become one of the most discussed compounds in the longevity community. Topics covered include: ✔️ What Epitalon is✔️ The history of Russian peptide bioregulators✔️ The pineal gland and melatonin production✔️ Telomeres explained in plain English✔️ How telomerase works✔️ Why scientists are excited—and cautious—about telomerase activation✔️ Human vs. animal research✔️ Current FDA and regulatory status✔️ Common misconceptions surrounding Epitalon This episode separates evidence from speculation while providing an easy-to-understand explanation of one of the most fascinating peptides in longevity research. 📚 Key References - Khavinson V. et al. Hi John, I want to use Epitalon and have found discrepancies between protocols. Some say 10 mg daily for 20 days, then wait for 6 months before repeating the same cycle. Others suggest 5 mg (I don't remember if it is for the same 20 days or for a month), and others suggest 2 or 3 mg, maybe for 30 days. Some people have mentioned that the difference in dosage is because the studies were not for Epitalon, but for Epitaladamine (the raw, unprocessed form). Could you please help me understand this better so I can use it appropriately?
