London Marathon NEW WORLD RECORD
The two-hour barrier just fell. Watch it now. 🏅 Yesterday at the 2026 London Marathon, Sabastian Sawe did what many thought was impossible — he ran a 1:59:30, becoming the first man in history to break the two-hour marathon barrier in a legal race. Total Running Productions has the full breakdown. This isn't just a race recap — it's the kind of video that reminds you exactly why you lace up every morning. Eliud Kipchoge ran sub-2 in 2019 — but under controlled conditions. It didn't count. Yesterday, it counted. Sawe did it in a real race, on a real course, against real competition. The four-minute mile of our generation just happened. Why you need to watch this right now: ⚡You're a runner. This is the most historic running moment of your lifetime. ⚡Total Running Productions breaks down the race in a way that will actually make you faster — the pacing, the tactics, the moment it unfolded. ⚡If sub 20 feels big to you right now, watch what belief looks like at the highest level. Same principle, different scale. 👇 Drop your reaction below after you watch it. What was your favourite moment? Also on the day: Tigst Assefa ran a new women's world record of 2:15:41. Second place also broke the previous world record. History didn't just happen once — it happened twice.

Breathing
What is the best way of breathing when running?

The brother asked a very good question Honestly, the reason you're finding breathing hard on your runs is because you're finding the running hard and thats completely normal. Struggling to breathe is the symptom but the real issue is in the roots which is your overall running fitness. You don't fix a dying tree by pulling at its branches, you water the roots. So instead of obsessing over breathing technique you should water your roots by running consistently Even just 1-2km regularly and your body should adapt on its own. (This worked out for me and now running feeling like walking.) Before you know it you would not even think about your breath anymore. Just breathe through your mouth and nose and slow down if you're gasping and trust the process. Consistency beats technique every time.

Hey man, no worries at all 👊 Yeah, Vaporflys can feel super narrow in the midfoot for a lot of people, so you’re definitely not alone there. And honestly, if you’re mainly sprinting, you’re better off putting your money into good spikes anyway. I would say look for spikes that are wider fitting, especially through the midfoot as fit matters more than brand or price. Ideally try them on in-store so they feel snug, not tight or cramp There are different types of spike shoes, one with foam and ones without. The ones with foam are more comfortable and are generally used for longer track distances like 1500m up to 10000m but there are also ones that don’t have the foam which are generally lighter but less comfortable but somewhat better for sprinting, i would personally go for the foam spikes

Yes i would say foam spikes are best as ur more of a middle distance runner, and I've done a couple 1500m races with non-foam spikes and most of the time ended up really hurt my feet by the end
Ran a slow 15k to build endurance
I can run a 5K in 17 minutes. But today’s 15K was at 6:00/km. Most of my training is slow — on purpose. Slow long runs build your aerobic base, improve endurance, help recovery, and reduce injury risk. They’re what allow you to actually handle hard sessions. I wouldn’t be running sub-20 (or 17) minute 5Ks without years of easy miles. Run slow to run fast.
