For our inaugural North County edition of the San Diego IRL we ventrured out to the Mission Pacific Hotel which is just across from the Oceanside Pier. Their High/Low restaurant offers some amazing views making for a beautiful setting to meet fellow San Diego Skoolers. The patio was a little full from people still enjoying their weekend brunch at the start of our meetup. Mental note for the next time for this venue to come a little later as the patio did clear down to more manageable levels a half hour later. We got to delight in @Michelle McMillionairess and her awesome energy. We got to delight each other in tales about our experiences here on Skool and the opportunities for growth of our respective communities here on the platform. As Michelle likes to say, "Until Further Notice Celebrate Everything" and that's a motto to embrace to bring those good vibes and say, "more of this energy please!!" I will be at the Northern San Diego one ~~~you are going to love the location for those who attend ~~~ oceanfront Mission Pacific Hotel ~~~ gorgeous environment ~ High / Low Restaurant ~~~ they serve coffee ~ teas ~ fresh squeezed juices ~ food if you desire ~ comfortable seating { indoors & outdoors } so regardless of the weather on Saturday ~~~ warm and sunny or otherwise ~~~ we will be good to go with that ! There is free street parking on Cleveland Street About 1 good block from the Mission Pacific Hotel or paid parking nearby or valet at the hotel. Bonus is we can all go to the beach too if we want or visit the Tom Cruise "Top Gun" House { YES, it is on the property } ............yes they filmed there for that movie !!! Fun ! Had a wonderful impromptu gathering due to Ravi Etherton from France visiting some Family in San Diego. @Michelle McMillionairess recommended a vegan place in Ocean Beach called Peace Pies and we ended up catching the amazing sunset at the beach. The real connections are what make Skool great.
