My co-worker gave me this book. I highly recommend it especially if you’re grieving. It’s a good read even if you’re not. When I opened the book, I didn’t give much thought to its contents as the young lady that gave it to me is 23. Shame on me for being judgmental…sometimes we find wisdom in places that we never would have looked.

Today's Service (plus a quick question)
Good morning, all! I really hate to do this, but I'm having Internet issues this morning, and need to cancel service for today. I will record the message and post it this week. Secondly, I have a question. Since we are starting on this new platform and have wiggle room to make changes before we really start advertising, would you like to keep the Saturday services, or move to an evening service during the week? I know it's tough sometimes to stop midday on Saturdays, and I was thinking that maybe a Tues, Wed, or Thurs service would be more convenient and draw more participants. Please let me know what you think.

Evenings work much better for me.
Any will work 🫶
My testimony
My mom is 1 of 8. She and her oldest sister have been estranged for years. With my dad’s recent passing, she wants to talk to her sister. She tried calling, the number she has is no longer in service. She asked me if I would go over to her house; my mom is in Florida, her sister is in Michigan . I’ve never met her sister and have not heard good things about her. I agreed to go. I have been praying on this for two weeks. I felt today was the day to go. She lived an hour from me. I felt positive and peaceful going. My gps showed she has a long driveway. Once I turn on to her road, I’m very much in the country. I had prepared a note in case she wasn’t home. I pull into the driveway, it’s long. There’s a no trespassing sign. I ignore it, people probably want to hunt her land. I pull in further, no trespassing signs on both sides of the driveway. Ok God, I shouldn’t be here, I’ll leave the note in the mailbox. I look for a place to turn around. I’m not comfortable backing all the way back down. No place to turn around so I pull all the way up the driveway. I’m greeted by a giant stop sign with a message that says, if we didn’t invite you, don’t come to our door. I left fast and put the note in the mailbox. It would be nice if all of God’s signs could be this bold 🛑
