Online Dating Safety Handbook
Introduction This handbook is designed to help women navigate online dating safely, confidently, and with clear protective strategies drawn from real‑world investigative techniques. Use this guide as a practical reference throughout your dating journey. 1. Foundation Principles - Your safety comes first—not politeness, not potential romance. - Move slowly and verify: trust patterns, not promises. - You control the pace: communication, meetings, and boundaries. - Leave anytime: discomfort is a complete reason. 2. Pre‑Dating Safety I recommend buying my book. How to find a Soul Mate in less than a year. A Private Investigators guide to date safely online. This book expands on this dating safety handbook. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G277VZ7R 2.1 Create Safe Contact Channels - Use a Google Voice number. - Use a separate email for dating apps. - Keep your home and work details private. 2.2 Photo & Profile Safety - Avoid photos that show your home, car plates, or children. - Do not link directly to your personal social media. 3. Early Communication Safety 3.1 Spot Early Red Flags - Fast declarations of love. - Pushy behavior for calls, video chats, or meetings. - Victim narratives designed to gain sympathy. - Inconsistent stories (job, location, age). 3.2 Quick Verification Tactics - Google basic details. - Reverse‑image search their photos. - Check for social media consistency. - You should consider hiring a private investigator you trust to do a background check. 4. Planning the First Meeting 4.1 Non‑Negotiable Rules - Meet in a public, high‑traffic place. - Share your location with a trusted person. - Arrange your own transportation. - Set a time limit (45–60 minutes). 4.2 Before You Leave - Fully charge your phone. - Tell a friend where you’re going. - Screenshot their profile and send it to someone you trust. 5. The Date Itself 5.1 What to Watch For - Incongruence between words and behavior. - Controlling or possessive comments. - Excessively personal or probing questions.

A female PI's Guide to dating online safely
When I got a divorce in 1998, the internet was just beginning to take shape. The World Wide Web wasn’t the massive, interconnected world it is now. Back then—1999 and 2000—online dating meant chat rooms, message boards, and small meetup spaces where singles could find one another. And in that early, experimental time, I met the man who became my soul mate. We’ve now been married for 24 years. Even as my story turned into a lifelong love, I’m painfully aware that many women have not been so lucky. We’ve all heard the horror stories—women who met someone online only to be manipulated, assaulted, or worse. Those stories still happen, and they break my heart. That’s why I’ve made this my mission.
