I agree that it would be nice to have somebody stand up for her and protect her from further assault. Spitting on somebody is assault. It was necessary to remove him and/or get her to safety. That should definitely include immediate photo documentation and calling 911. My concern with this is would a jury possibly see this as an excessive use of force? What would that mean for the guys stepping up for this lady?
