Focus on one DAW and learn its shortcuts so you can work faster and more efficiently. Listen to reference tracks, then jump into your DAW and try to recreate something similar. Build a consistent routine, and avoid spreading yourself too thin—aim to master one skill rather than becoming average at many.
I use FL Studio, but if I had to start over again, I’d choose Logic Pro. Still, I don’t think it really matters which DAW you use—it’s more about your skills. If I were starting from scratch, I’d invest in one-on-one piano lessons, mentorship, or both.
