Keep the room sound across a cut
When two generated shots of the same room sound like different places, try separating the dialogue and effects you need from the background ambience. Put one quiet room-tone track under both shots and let it continue across the cut. Keep a door close or a cup landing lined up with its own action. If you replace the picture, those sounds may need moving too. For a change of location, try letting the next place become audible a little before you show it. Start subtle, then compare it with a hard sound cut. Check with music muted as well. Music can hide a rough join while you work, then it reappears in a quieter section. No need to regenerate good picture just to fix a seperate sound problem.
Spot repeated frames before captioning a character dataset
Open your candidate training images as a contact sheet before writing captions. A folder with 40 files can still contain the same pose 30 times. Group the near-duplicates and keep the clearest examples. Then check what is missing: a profile, a wider view, different lighting, or a background that is not in every image. Keep the character consistent while varying those things. If every photo has the same coat, sofa and camera angle, more captions alone will not add the missing variation. Mark the gaps first, then add images for those gaps. Saves labelling same pose over and over.
A handoff note for a ComfyUI shot
For a ComfyUI shot you want to revisit, save the workflow JSON and source images beside the output. A short notes file helps when you come back to it later or hand it to someone else. Output file: Workflow file: Input images: Models and LoRAs, exact filenames: Custom node versions: Last change: Still needs fixing: For the last two lines, something like "reduced camera movement; wrist still warps at 3s" is enough. Include the actual seed used for the saved result if it was random. Keep the accepted version in its own folder before trying the next idea. Makes the next revision a bit less of a guessing excercise.
ComfyUI Image to Video Without a Local GPU (Comfy Cloud alternative minus the subscription)
Turn a still image into a video in your local ComfyUI, without a local inference GPU or downloading models. In this walkthrough, we install the free Forma custom nodes, connect an account, open an image-to-video template in Comfy UI and run a real generation. Your price depends on the model and settings - no subscription needed. Pay as you go - top-ups from $5. Check the quote before running the inference. Choose from 39 image and video models, 8 video workflow types and 2 image workflow types. Payment options include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and crypto, depending on availability at checkout. @Mouldi Nouri Yep, checking the cost before hitting Run is an easy step to skip.. Small clarification: it’s a price quote, not a discount. You see what that generation will cost before spending anything. Same image, diferent model or settings can mean a very different bill. I’d start with a short test, see whether the motion works, then spend more on the version worth keeping
Forma: image and video generation without another subscription
I've shared some of my LoRA Pilot work here. This is my other project, Forma, for the days you want to generate an image or animate a still without setting up a workflow. You choose a model, write a prompt and see the price before generating. Text to image, image editing and image to video are in the same studio. No subscription; you top up a balance when you need it. Your library is private by default, with no public feed. For a short ad, I'd start with a few stills, choose the composition, then animate that one. Saves paying for video attempts while you're still deciding what the shot should look like. I built it with occasional creators in mind. It's a generation tool, so you'll still want an editor for cuts, titles and sound. https://forma.cam
