4 contributions to Embrace Your Inner Weirdo
I’m so weird.
Well… I think in order to get to know how weird I am, there’s a lot of nuance. And it’s not necessarily weird, it’s just swimming against the stream, being unique and wacky. I love to embrace individuality and I approach life and business in my own way, following my inner compass The guide me towards helping people support supporting and cheering people on. I put ketchup on grilled cheese sandwiches. I used to wear my nightgowns inside out because when I took them off they’d be right side out. I teach my kids to be respectful and take responsibility - but honestly I also taught them to swear! I jump without looking, I cheer people on who others overlook, I get excited, I mean REALLY excited, about trivial things. I am authentically me, and I love that I can be weird me in this space! I had a point with this post and I don’t know where it went… So here I am!
I’m so weird.

@Krista Melanson Hi Krista! I know you as “The Relationship Chef”, yet I was there at 10AM EST and you weren’t though. @Justin Yip told me through his Aligned Networking Call that she will be back here visiting once again. I told Ben and Justin plus the others there that I love music, singing, dancing, and concerts with a passion. I am pretty eclectic, and I talk also about my choices when @Justin Yip asked me what kinds of music do I listen to, and J chose different types including pop, r&b, soul, some ray, some country, Latin, world, classical, and such. In the first breakout room, I talked to @Lion Fludd, Timothy, Jenny,, and then in the other breakout room, I talked to Timothy, and some other people that I forgot about, because there was a lady who was there who talked to both of us, and she was giving me pointers about my camera angle on my tablet and how I am facing close by the front and such.

Yes Rasheed, I definitely believe in work/life balance. It reminds me of what I learned from author and optimist, Mr. Simon Sinek about work/life balance. Plus, I am a Libra, so I value harmony and balance, no question about it.
Do what you must...
Do what you must, so you can do what you want. Have you heard that phrase before? I have well. Heck, not only have I heard it before, I've preached it for many years, but I just recently realized that I wasn't practicing what I preached. Many of you know that I twist balloons and it has served me well for the last 18 years, but I was getting weary of doing it week in and week out. I've been thinking about getting out of it and I have been resisting having to do that in order to have income coming in while I oursue my long-term plan that doesn't necessarily require my presence all the time. While I enjoyed doing balloons and I still do, and there is no substitute for a child hugging your legs and saying you're the best. Being a balloon artist requires my presence. In other words, I am trading time for money, even though the money is good, it's still a time for money exchange. This past weekend I had what I call a duh moment. I realized that if I work 20 hours a week doing balloons I can remove all the financial stress out of my life and focus the rest of the time doing what I'm passionate about. So I have recommitted myself to showing up about 20 hours a week handing out balloon animals, and spend the rest of the time doing what I enjoy doing, which is helping people create Freedom Lifestyle without having to worry about income. When I give away balloons people give away money. I know that when I start giving away my experiences and knowledge the money will show up. I won't have to struggle for it, fight for it or worry about it. But until that cash flow starts I don't have the stress anymore because I have balloons as my channel of income. What are you resisting that is actually working for you? Think about it and share it in the comments

@Katinka van Kan That’s an excellent call, Katinka! It reminds me of how I am looking to connect with people to also see who is willing and interested in being coached by me via my relatively new Positive Psychology Coaching practice called Positive Psychology Solutions. I want to create a client base of supportive clients who would be looking to share with them free coaching sessions in exchange for free video testimonials at the end. Would you like to get an6 additional support, help you work on any things that are happening with you and anyone else that’s occurring personally or professionally speaking, together with anything that is hindering progress or stagnation going forward? Please let me know! You can DM me here at Skool, email me at romanticsinger24@gmail.com, and 3ven call me at 1-571-500-8485.
