These are three products I bought from store websites and resold on Amazon. Each chart is the year before I sold. I marked up what I look at before I buy. Quick key: pink is the price buyers pay, yellow is how many sell a month, purple is how many sellers are on it. Circuit breaker: I sold 123, average ROI 29%, cost me about $14 each. The price held $20 to $27 all year and it sold every month. 4K streaming device: I sold 38, average ROI 41%, cost me about $22 each. Sellers were leaving while the price was going up. When I see that, I look closer. Men's undershirts, 4+1 pack: I sold 11, average ROI 24%, cost me about $23 each. The price held $40 to $43 all year right up to when I sold, and sales kept climbing. One real sale of that streaming device: sold for $48.08, Amazon fees $8.20, my cost $22.18, profit $17.70. How I never run out of leads, easiest to hardest: 1. Reorders. You already know how that listing plays. 2. Keepa alerts. Keepa tells you when the price hits your number. 3. Brands you already know. 4. Storefronts selling the same stuff you do. 5. Retailers you're good with, like Walmart or Home Depot. 6. Brand new products. Last, not first. Once you catch one good product, it leads you to more. Work through all of that before you go looking for something brand new. Questions? Drop them in the comments.
