The Father gives commandments—the direct, clear, straight decrees from Heaven. The Mother gives law—the governing principles of cause and effect, the moral structure of the universe, the consequences that reveal truth through experience. “My son, keep thy father’s commandment…” Obey the words of the Father. Keep them near. Bind them to the heart. Let them govern decisions and direct steps. The commandments do not restrain life—they protect it, illuminate it, stabilize it, and empower it. “…and forsake not the law of thy mother.” The law of the Mother is the law of consequence— the law of “as within, so without,” the law of sowing and reaping, the law that teaches through return, the law that disciplines by reflection. To forsake her law is to forsake wisdom, to forsake understanding, to forsake the very pattern of righteousness that keeps a man aligned with the Kingdom.
