Thanks Jayce, appreciate the feedback. I have watched that video before and incorporated stomach vacuums and planks into my workouts a while back (and I do vacuums when I'm just standing around now too, lol). I have actually been doing more exercise post-op (4-5 days a week) than I was in my life before all of this (1-2 days a week, if that).... the 21-day routine helped form a habit :). I had someone recently give me their 'opinion' that my pain could be from scar tissue... and that I might need to 'work through the pain' to help break up the scar tissue - but that person had different surgery on different part of the body, so I don't know if what they said applies to hernia repairs. Shouldice had us exercising from day 1, so it's not like I've been sitting around. Anyway, I'll try scaling back the swimming, but it's only been a few days a week and not really that far (compared to what I used to do). I read that in hernia sx recovery you shouldn't be kicking really hard, so I may also cut out the flutterboard and just do laps. I've watched your other 6 month and 1 year videos, so I've seen that you still had some pain when you overdid your workouts - but I'm not pumping iron like you are! 😆
