Things that make you go hmmm: Thursday Questions
On a group mastermind call with @Brian O'Neill, he posted the top 4 (six) questions below in the chat. I was starting to ask people the bottom two + one bonus questions. Can you answer the questions and feel great about your answers? 1 -Why are you here? 2 -What do you want? 3 -Is what you’re doing right now getting you any closer to that? 4a. -Has it helped you? 4b. -Has it helped your family? 4c. -Has it served those you want to help? 5 -Do you have an o̳f̳f̳e̳r̳? 6 -Have you started s͟e͟l͟l͟i͟n͟g͟ ͟y͟o͟u͟r͟ ͟o͟f͟f͟e͟r͟? Bonus question: 7 -What do you feel has 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 from selling your offer? Sure Happy It's Thursday or TGIF Eve.

1. I'm tired of being told what I'm worth and not being able to more directly impact that answer by building something more valuable. 2. I want to share my passion with the world and help as many referees as I can while being able to replace my income and get more flexibility. 3. In a way, yes and in a way no- I'm sharing my passion, but I've not been super successful at "building" the value... I'm getting lost and sucked into the details of things that either don't matter or don't meaningfully move the needle. I need to get back to basics a little bit and find a better balance. 4. 4A- Has it helped me? Yes - by iterating. 4B- Helped my family - Not as much yet 4C- served those I want to help? Yes, I get near daily feedback that my channel has helped people develop a greater understanding of the game. 5. Yes- but it's needing more consistent application and honing. 6. Yes- but it's not taken off... yet... 7. Nothing- Consistency in offering the offer is a bit off, but I've sold it and some have bought it... but I need more to make it viable and the lack of acceptance is making it hard to believe it will happen... but you don't get to be a referee of 20 years without a bit of resilience... Gotta keep pushing and nailing this.

Welcome in, Don't Be Shy. You didn't join Coaching Jumpstart to just "think" about coaching—you joined to start doing it. We are thrilled to have you here! This group is built for one purpose: To move you from "Aspiring Coach" to "Active Coach" as fast as humanly possible. The first goal, if you're a new coach, is to reach your first $1,000 in sales. Next goal, replace your living expenses. Then the $10k-$25k/month club, without a big, annoying team, tech headaches, or working 80 hours per week and taking fake pictures in front of Lambos and private jets. The secondary goal is lots of fun, lots of LIVE group calls, and a whole lotta business building. Please share: 1. Where are you in the world? 🌎 2. Who do you help? 🫂 Also, please feel free to list your Niche Here, so we can all collaborate and learn from each other. Looking forward to having a great time while building your dream coaching business. Two Freebies in the Classroom for you: *** The Free, 5-Day Jumpstart Your Offer Challenge is located here. *** The Coaching Jumpstart Guide is a 10-part mini-course to help you get to $1k in sales fast. Hey all, I can't believe I've forgotten to post my intro... My name is Mike, I'm a Dad of 3, my teenage son, Owen, and my twin step-kids, Remy and Lorelei... It's a wonderful blended family of chaos at the best of times! I work in the Healthcare industry focusing on Facility Management consulting but more importantly, I'm a veteran soccer referee with over 20 years of experience on the whistle. No you won't see me on the TV, but I'm the guy at your local park, blowing the whistle for no apparent reason... Just kidding (kinda?), There is a reason and that's why I created a Skool community (and IG channel @therefereecircle) to help Referees get better off the back of my 20 years of mistakes and missteps. Yes I've figured out how to do it along the way and as such I've been able to do Semi-pro games, Adult Amateur, High Level (Regional) youth games, along with your run of the mill swarm ball too... I created The Referee Circle to help referees simply get better and have more confidence in their ability to officiate the beautiful game. Do you love Soccer? Do you have questions about a refereeing decision that no one else seems to be able to answer? That's usually where I come in or you've yelled at me for usually the exact same reason! Look forward to contributing more!
A Little S.P.A.R.K. can Jumpstart a Huge Vehicle!
The Coaching Jumpstart mission is to help you quickly reach your first $1,000, then $2,000, and finally $10,000 from your coaching business, using actionable steps and tools to regularly deposit your living expenses into your bank account without endless scrolling or aggressive sales calls. Tired of the Endless Cycle of "Someday"? You know the drill. You buy another course → promise yourself this one will be different. You opt into another free lead magnet → download the PDF → it sits unopened. You binge another YouTube series → feel inspired for 24 hours → back to the same routine. And nothing changes. Your bank account stays flat. Your time keeps disappearing. Your dream of replacing your living expenses — while still working your job — feels further away than ever. Here’s the truth no one wants to tell you: Information doesn’t pay your bills. Action does. The coaches who are quietly replacing (and then surpassing) their 9-5 income didn’t do it by collecting more free trainings. They did it by taking small, profitable actions that generated real revenue — fast. That’s why I created SPARKS. This no-fluff system is designed for busy people who want to build a coaching income without quitting their job or waiting for the “perfect” moment. SPARKS stands for Small Profitable Actions to Rapidly Jumpstart Sales: - S – Launch a small-group cohort (just 4–10 clients) and get paid in weeks, not months. - P – Sell profitable one-off VIP sessions for immediate cash injections. - A – Set up one automated funnel that sells while you sleep (and while you’re at your day job). - R – Run a quick paid challenge that turns free followers into paying clients. - K – Offer simple Kickstarter bundles that convert hesitant prospects fast. - S – Raise your rates strategically — the single fastest way to boost income. These aren’t big, scary launches. These are deliberate, low-risk moves that fit into evenings and weekends. And most importantly, they work.

Love the S.P.A.R.K acronym. “Would you_____ “ the blank is unknown and I’m not meant to know it. All I know is that I’ve tried and learned what’s not working… maybe I’m not consistent enough with the action steps… Maybe the offer is wrong… either way- I’m committing to getting The Referee Circle off the ground and I have to believe that it WILL fly, just need to dial in.
Supporting my son’s entrepreneurial spirit!
This came up very last minute- but I took the time, and helped my son with his very first craft fair that his new school put on. He’s into “rainbow loom”- and it helps his focus and anxiety with his ASD. I whipped up some graphics and strategy in Gemini because I have very little direct knowledge and he got to work “looming” all week! I also built the gold table displays from some materials around the garage. Overall- with a week to organize and turn this around- I think we pulled it off pretty well! He wants to start IG and YouTube next (Lord help me! lol)… he’s hungry but burns out quickly- every race is a sprint. It’s been a fun learning experience for him and he’s only 13.

@Shasta Palmer I don't know if he knows how lucky he is, but I am doing everything I can to fuel this spirit in him.

@Janna Skroch He was very excited and it was a great experience for him. He sold about 40+ bracelets and he was making more of them at the table and even did a few custom ones.
Panera is at it again.
my Panera recently got a new manager and the place is changing for the better. I talked to him and then put in my application to working the dining room for lunch hours. He asked me what I wanted to get paid and he said no, I'm going to pay you more. I'm getting paid extra for my experience and this position often gets a decent amount of cash tips. Everyone that works here is so excited to work with me. The reason I started cleaning in the first place is because I had a hard time being in a busy location with lots of people around. However, things have changed and I do very well with the shorter interactions and with being my helpful self. Instead of draining me, it now gives me energy. I can see this building my confidence even more which will be of a great benefit for my business.
