Retirement or F.I.R.E. is not the end of the road. It's the beginning of the open highway!
New Chapter: Officially Unstuck! They say the dreams you have in your 30s, 40s, and 50s shift once you hit the 60s Club. For us, that shift became a reality today. Are you feeling STUCK? For 26 years, our Caledonia home "Sandals Caledonia" was the backdrop for a lifetime of memories. We loved it, but as our lives changed in 2024, we realized the "monuments to success" we built in the past weren't what we needed for the future. We decided it was time to downsize the house and upsize the lifestyle. Today, it’s official: the conditions are lifted on our new home! We are becoming Dunnville residents, moving to a beautiful, nicer lot with only two neighbors: peace and privacy, not the village hustle. Place to park our Class A RV for winters or last minute get aways. We have Sandals at the Lake 5 mins away... We’re trading those 30-40-minute drives for a life where everything we need is just 5–10 minutes away. We aren't just talking about the "Unstuck" lifestyle for the brand. We are living it We now own two homes until we say a final, grateful goodbye to this beautiful house in Caledonia. It’s time to stop dreaming about "someday" and start living the Unstuck Dream. Thank you all our friends in Caledonia. #GodIsOurCaptain #35YearAnniversary #LivingtheDream #FaithAndFamily #RetirementIsUs #GettingUnstuck #DunnvilleBound #NewChapter #60sClub #DownsizeToUpsize #LivingTheDream #EnergyToFaith #4 ETF TFSA & RRSP Portfolio

"Cash is King?" Stop Kidding Yourself. Really keep telling yourself that !!!
An Exclusive from Retirement Is Us—Laba dabba do! Are you stuck? Oh I pay cash for everything!!! Look at me pulling stack of cash showing everything I own in my pocket. When your done playing Mr. Bigshot or the wheel in front of your friends then you go I got nothing left at the end of the month !?! O cry me a river Mr. Bigshot Millionaires constantly look for opportunities to use other people's money, getting a piece of the action. Oh, you keep telling yourself "Cash is King" when the Kings of the world use your money. Yeah, right. You tell me you've got "no money" to invest? Why not get a credit card that gives you straight cash back? You take that free money, put it into an RRSP first, and then use your tax return to fund your TFSA! So hey, Mr. Show Off, whining, "Oh, I can't start investing, I have no money", you're still walking around saying Cash is King? Give me a break. Unless you are running an illegal underground operation, hiding from your WIFE | HUSBAND or the government, or living entirely off the grid in a cabin, clinging to cash is pure financial madness. You keep telling yourself cash is king? Wake up. You're leaving money on the table, and frankly, it's costing you. Here is the brutal truth about why the smart money uses plastic, apps, and other people's money to build wealth. But wait caution first look Mr. Laba O I don't use carry cash but use my Debit Card. The Debit Card Disaster First off, if you are walking around swiping a debit card for your daily purchases, you are playing Russian Roulette with your liquidity. Debit cards offer zero real security. You swipe that piece of plastic at a compromised gas station pump, it gets skimmed, and boom. How do you like that now KIK kiss your money good bye zero Insurance. Your actual, hard-earned checking account is drained. Seen all too often with old school Aunts and Uncles. What happens next? You shut down the card, your account is frozen, and you are left completely stranded while the bank takes its sweet time investigating. Cry beg plead on your knees...Help me Cash is King Mr. Banker.

@Peter Eckstein Thanks, Always annoys me at family functions bragging about cash is king. I say what go illegal crap going on and there the ones with no money. If your not responsible then show discipline my wife shopped for years at Shoppers and Stores take. My one sister always bragging how she got another electronic item for free or stuff backyard but her husband uses for everything in the office...

@Peter Eckstein Let them try to move 10k cash and not realize they will report you. Now trying to 3k cash and report people to Fintrac without your knowledge. You sell a vehicle and collect cash put it in the bank and now getting an audit. Cash is King my ass not in todays world unless you think you can live off grid and not be seen by government.

@Peter Eckstein I love 70s and 80s and my fav music comes from these two decades. We just going to on rainy days at our second home have people over for cards and 70s themed parties...lol...
FLT.V going to FLT.TO I decided on a change of plans
I never in my decade experienced a Venture stock going to TSX so exciting. Sure I witnessed YieldMax years back with A & E at the stock exchange. Update I also shared with everyone my two different sell off of shares leaving me with 87,500 shares but I thought my limit strike price after this week Noise/vs/Signal days preparation for week I moved to 1.50 and 1.75 up from .91 and 1.20. I spent 3 years with this company DCA down to .296 on ave with 174,000 shares right now I am down from 184k reported as I trimmed for some victories in Spousal. I have plan with either money if it comes in which I explain down the road. Investing to me like running our 9 money making machines in basement I refer to often with friends and family need a little calibration from time to time. But this money all part of my 10% growth and speculation and I want to inject some big wins for future plans to the foundation of our portfolios and realities of some other finances I share soon in a video. It all make sense especially to Gary as he sees my take on one of his videos.....little mystery lol no it's not more mste talk though I have a video for that one in the making...with my shirt OFF no less.

@Peter Eckstein Yes I did buy some back then but have DCA down to less 30 cents. I enjoy watching this company grow from beginning. I knew when they merged with more sale minded company as before a research stage they bring it back as it was financially okay but would eventually burn through their cash with no contracts or small ones they had. Love it to be like your underwater drone company stock listed. Stock Market can make lot of millionaires or ruin lot of people.

@Peter Eckstein I posted 3 limit trades selling off 100,000 shares and holding back 55,000 shares now. My gut tells me get out for a bit and jump back in. I staggered the 3 trades so it does not spark markets. I hit 20,444 at .76 then balance .77 and .78 as we also need to beef up back up plan for capitol on our new home bought and bridging both. I not worried don't need but I won't have time to watch markets so have all three set up for the next month. I am in the position all have been bought on previous victories so nice cash into the system are TFSAs just 20k is going to be taxed at 20% but just numbers and money. It swung down today I capture next swing up as it moves about 10-14% in a day. I should sold when at 89c but venture to tsx made me rethink. O well it's all just part of my 10% speculative stocks of 10 different ones as it is just entertainment for me and fun. Thanks for the tips I been focused on other stuff lately, probably have to come out retirement for a break LOL just kidding NOT
Brompton - PAYG - Podcast Episode - Questions
Hi everyone, I am filming a podcast episode with a fund manager at Brompton to talk about PAYG, then SPLT next week. Let me know if you have questions about these funds, or any other funds from Brompton, and I will bring it up during the podcast (as long as the question meets compliance - sometimes they can't legally answer some of my questions) Thanks,

- What is the strategic rationale behind PAYG’s unique semi-monthly payout structure compared to the standard monthly model? Is it to compete against other bimonthly players in the space. - How does the active management team dynamically adjust leverage in PAYG during sharp sector pullbacks to protect capital while maintaining that high yield? - For SPLT, how do the ongoing coupon resets of the underlying preferred shares give it a definitive edge over traditional fixed-income products right now?
