Hi Day, have 2 questions for you. I got a quote for a new surplus item but it was not gov’t NS. Can I still bid this as “new” since it is unused or no? If a label has a navy contract number can you still bid on that as unused gov’t NS or no?
Hey guys, I have 2 questions for you. 1. Where is the best place to buy ASTM D5118 fiberboard boxes? 2. Where is the best place to buy all things related to MIL STD 2073 packaging, such as unit containers and cushioning material?
When you submit a bid and the country of origin is classified as “Non-Qualifying Country End Products”, does this immediately disqualify your bid? I am curious if it does because how is there purchase history for this contract where the manufactured stated it is made in China.
@Day Cantave Got it. Another question not counting China, let me give another example… There is a taillight that is made in Mexico (the manufacture told me their factory is there) and there was a recent award for that NSN this month. How can other people provide this item if it’s a non qualifying country (not just China).. Thank you in advance
Hey all. After winning an award when do you invoice the government? I am a little confused on WAWF/PIEE. I won a contract with a 80 day delivery window and just sent the PO to the OEM.
Good Afternoon all. I wanted to ask everyone what their process looks like for the typical objection when a manufacturer says you need to have an account or apply to become a distributor. More times than not I get high pricing or they simply won’t quote unless going through a distributor.
