Licence to ride a motorbike in Thailand?
Hey, all. Does anyone know if an international driver's licence covers riding scooters & motorbikes in Thailand? Or do I need to get a separate motorcycle licence from my home country first (Australia)? Thanks 👍 *I've never driven a scooter, but presumably they're not hard to get the hang of. Can anyone confirm?

Hi Jim, There is one utterly important thing so many overlook regarding this subject and it can utterly stuff your plans as it did for an Australian man in Bali recently (he had insurance but was not covered and his mother set up a gofundme to air lift him home). If you don't have a full Motorcycle license in your own country or in the country you are currently, regardless if the local laws allow it, you will most probably not be covered by travel insurance. This may not seem like a big deal but big hospital claims are for road accident and most likely on a motorcycle/scooter.

@Nathan Von Fumetti I'm not insured in I don't wear a helmet on a bicycle and clearly by law you don't need a helmet on a bicycle in Asia
Remote CAD work strategy
CAD Drafting and 3D modeling work seams very hard to find. I have tried filters on linkedin and Seek with no luck. It seems the only employers that have a dynamic approch to remote work are mostly in IT. They can think outside the typical working models. Given Microsoft Teams and others verbal/visual communication has proven to work affectivly on line and easly achieved in the CAD industy it seams utterly bizzar The CAD industy has not gone remote like IT or even close. Add to this we mostly all worked remote successfully during the C word. If you have any success with any of the remote job websites in particular "Flexjobs", can you please share thier thoughts on this? I will be greatful for any information. Mike

@David Major Thank you David for your imput and sorry about the one subject short of you completing the degree. Thats really tough. I'm sticking with CAD design for now and only need one more year before I can leave for SE Asia and fall back on a passive income. Was just hoping I could earn in SE Asia now remotly. Are you doing the Sales funnel course? whats your plan? if you don't mind me asking. Mike
The UK is screwed
Hey, all. Check out this appallingly funny short video on why the UK is so screwed. If you're still on the fence about leaving the west - even after watching Brett's videos on the subject - this might give you that extra push you need. It's about the UK, but they could be talking about Australia, the US, or just about any other western country. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8sRoYvFTE3c

Sadly the mob (peasents) still think voting for a minor or independant is a "waisted vote". So we all suffer because of these types. Clearly the west is run by one singular aristocracy, as the patterns are uncanny, consistant.
