👩‍🦰 Witches👩‍🦳 Free Night 🌜 Love Jumps 💘 and „Maistrich“ 😂 ❓
What you need for more visibility 👍 👩‍🦰 Summary👩‍🦳 Walpurgis Night or Saint Walpurgis Night is a traditional pre-Christian Northern and Central European festival, sometimes with a fire custom, held on April 30th. The name of the festival is derived from Saint Walburga, whose feast day was celebrated until the Middle Ages on May 1st, the day of her canonization. The purpose of the custom was to drive away winter. 🎯 Origin 🎯 The name Walpurgis Night is derived from Saint Walburga, an abbess from England who worked in southern Germany (c. 710 to 779). The nine days before were called Walpurgis Days, and the ringing of bells to ward off alleged witchcraft is also locally described as Walpern (source Wikipedia). ✅ Permitted Pranks ✅ + Dressing up as a devil, witch, or other spooky characters + Hiding objects + "Stealing" the neighboring community's maypole, returning it in exchange for a barbecue or free beer + "Taking" a wheelbarrow, grill, or trash can from a messy neighbor with the garden gate open and leaving it at the maypole for collection the next day ❌ What's Not Included ❌ -- Wrapping cars with toilet paper -- Spraying windows, doors, and vehicles with shaving cream, smearing them with mustard, ketchup, and flour -- Throwing raw eggs at house walls or cars -- Uprooting plants on other people's property -- Setting off firecrackers in mailboxes or trash cans -- Pranks that injure or cause harm -- Other property damage (PS: There are already court rulings on this) 💘 Lover's Leaps 💘 In many regions, it's customary for lovers to jump over the almost extinguished May bonfire together to swear eternal love to each other. ❓ QUESTION for you❓ Do you know the "Maistrich"? ...or perhaps completely different customs?

Many creators and administrators of communities on Skool and other platforms, especially subject-specific communities, have a very important question: Why are my members NOT as active as I would like them to be? For a brief analysis and to further explore this phenomenon, I am particularly interested in the opinions of all members here, all of whom want to become community creators themselves or who already are. Comparison of different activities of people in communities Within the communities, members take on different roles during their time together. Many members are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills. To achieve this, they utilize the community's communication opportunities, the classroom with its provided courses, videos, podcasts, checklists, e-books, and other documents. As a result of the various activities within the community, members expand their skills in very specific areas. How do communities compare to other areas of life? As a creator/future creator, which category would you prioritize your community? Please explain your decision in a few words in a comment. Thank you for your participation. Notice +Members should be there daily = Daily newspaper +Members should watch videos daily = TV +Members should be there on weekdays for approximately 6 months = Vocational training +Members should attend classes = Continuing education +Members should come like they come to a association +Members should come like they come to a club

@Heinz Braasch I hope this answers your question. No it wasn't vocational training. I recruited active members to volunteer as Educational Pickets. We held signs in front of retail stores to inform the public that businesses used construction contractors that violated Fair Labor Standards: ~sub-standard wages, ~no health care, ~no training benefits/apprenticeships, and ~no retirement benefits. Many of the contractors cheated their workers by: ~not paying overtime, state and federal law ~not paying workman's comp for protection if they were injured on the job ~not paying taxes owed because workers were classified as "independent contractors." They showed up 2-3 nights a week for 6 weeks. But very few of them were active in the union. They just paid their dues and went to work until they were laid off. THEN, they would show up at the hall looking for their next job.

I was just reading about creating urgency and your notification popped up. How was your holiday? Ours was fantastic but really knocked me off track with Skool.

@Jason Arnopp I don't think I am ready for a group yet. I do enjoy chatting with friends on Skool for sure.
Have you copied Skool Games winners?
With the Q1 Skool Games due to end tomorrow, I feel prompted to ask: Have you taken inspiration, in full or in part, from the About Pages of Skool Games winners, when creating your own Page? Vote below 👇 There is no shame if you have, by the way. You certainly won't be alone in having done so! For bonus points (literally, ha), comment below to explain why you've used, or not used, a Skool Games winner's Page as your blueprint.

@Jason Arnopp say what?
The power of members' stories 🔥
We all want to load our About Pages with proof. But to be frank, grabbing screenshots of happy members' comments in your community isn't enough. It's not nothing... but it's not enough. For one thing, those screengrabs are almost never legible on mobile. But most importantly, there is no substitute for the power of human beings relating the story of how you helped them - and ideally changed their lives. Here's a testimonial video I've just made for Forex For Women VIP. This involved speaking to five of their most engaged and successful members, then assembling the results. Take a look. Can you imagine how powerful it would be to see your members speaking about you and your service in this way? Any questions you have about the making of the video, ask away! 👊 P.S. The finished video has subtitle captions burnt into it. This is important for any kind of video material we have on our Page.
