Perpetual Loss
We live overseas, and I feel that we've dealt with continual loss for a decade now. I am a trained inner healing coach and have worked on this issue of loss of home, friends, family, etc. for 5 years. Yet I've felt perpetually unheard by so many ministry leaders in all of our losses. It's only Jesus who has heard and continues to really meet me in this place. We knew when we left the States that our 6 year old (at that time) deeply felt grief. I just see it all compounding now as he approaches 16. I'm sharing this because the videos on grief are so spot on. This course is already an answer to prayer! I'm going to order the book as well. Thank you! And praise Jesus!

@Jessica DuFour That's my experience too. My heart now is to grow in learning to communicate well, and like this course is teaching, help my children to communicate better. I do think we absolutely need to go to Jesus first and for everything, but we absolutely need community too. Learning how to be a good, safe, Christlike receivers and communicators is so needed. 🙏🏻
Tell me your future!
You've probably already entered your current predominant emotion within your family (if not, go to Classroom, then START HERE), but now I'd like you to add what you'd like your family to feel like when you are more emotionally whole.

All of the above, but kindness seems to be the one most needed right now.

Hello! I am Micah wife of Mark. :) I am from the USA while Mark is English, and our family of five lives in Scotland. We have been involved in a variety of ministries, and we home educate our 15, 13, and 11 year old children. Excited to be here and to learn!
