If you feel “slow” to the ball, it’s usually not about being faster. It’s about doing the first 2 steps the right way ✅ Here are 3 easy footwork tips: ⬇️ - Small hop ( a split step) when they hit: Do a tiny hop right when your opponent hits the ball. This helps you move fast. ✅ - First step is a push: Push off your foot to go. Don’t reach with your leg first. 🏃♂️ - Go back to your ready spot: After you move to hit the ball, take a few 2-3 quick steps back so you’re ready for the next ball.⏩ - Then repeat for each Ball! 🔁 Quick drill (see video) - Do 10 reps each way: hop → 2 fast steps (L or R) → stop and swing Split step and 2 quick steps = faster reaction and movement to the Ball! 👍 Ready to improve faster?
