I want to apologize: there is no tone of voice in text— if I have sounded hostile towards anyone in these comments, it wasn’t my intention and I will try to be more conscious of that possibility. Please try not to mistake my passion for hostility— people have my entire life, I’m a bit gaslit… 😅 That simple misunderstanding misses my entire point, so I will continue to do my part to not be misunderstood or mistaken for something I don’t intend to portray. Please let the record state that I am not mad at anyone here, nor Shawn Baker as an individual person… …and that my intention is not to attack, but to defend the subject of the bullying—I wasn’t the only one who saw it as such and I appreciate the others who said so. I will keep trying to be as precise in my wording and toneless-text as I can. Not here to start drama or pick fights, but I have never been one to stand for bullying either, that petty-low shit enrages me. I will call it out every time. I would like this whole thing to NOT dominate this comments feed, because others here are bringing up excellent topics for discussion and it would be a shame to overshadow them!!! Please just let this one simmer if you feel the need to argue or defend Shawn. His (team’s) out of context post (in his name and image) simply inspired my point… The controversy was not the point: If we have input and solutions for how to represent the carnivore community with integrity, strength and compassion—ways to promote our solutions and strengths to the world, that are constructive, (not dogmatic or alienating) that is absolutely what I intended to discuss here! How can we display truly good leadership qualities, so that the example is seen, received and sinks in???? Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
